My husband and I decided to try Sarapes based on all the positive reviews here and on Facebook. I was completely shocked when we got our food. We ordered nachos and quesadillas. The nachos were absolutely awful, we didn't even finish them. The quesadillas were mediocre at best, nothing like I was expecting based on the reviews. Acapulcos in Enfield... More

The two of us enjoyed a nice lunch of fajitas and enchiladas; however, I was very surprised at their prices. While it is good food, the overall value is brought down by paying $40 (before tip) for two lunches without drinking anything other than water and without a refill of chips. On the positive side, our waiter was very nice.... More

This is my first time there and I have to admit it was so good. I went with a group of 6, the waiter Leydi was great and willing to answer all of our many questions. I personally do not like spicy foods so I went with the "camarón al ajo" i believe. It was AMAZINGLY GREAT! They serve so... More

I ate at Sarapes for the first time yesterday, and I was very pleased with both my food and the service. Sort of a hole-in-the-wall location next to a laundromat, this is authentic Mexican food prepared and served by people who understand the cuisine. Portions are large, and the prices are quite fair. I would read the language and take... More

Small little restaurant, nothing fancy. Went there with my sisters. We all thought it was very good. Fresh, made to order guacamole. Tamales were great. Nothing fancy but the food is very good, we all liked it.

I ordered Torta and it was terrible! The rest of crew thought their food was ok. Salsa was edible, nothing special. Queso is melted shredded cheese. Not a single person ate all their food, that says a lot. Staff was friendly. I would not eat here again.

I ordered the carna asada and it was cooked to my liking. The rice and beans were good side dishes. The beer is also priced well.

Sarapes is our go-to restaurant for authentic Mexican food. We get take out frequently but it is a fun cozy place to have a meal. Nothing like the chain restaurants, just good food and drinks with super friendly staff

The food here is authentic and the size of this small restaurant has nothing to do with the big flavors that come from the kitchen. If you are looking for casual and real Mexican food I recommend it....family owned that can't be beat!
