Nardelli's is a GREAT place to eat!

I have been a fan / customer of Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe for over 35+ years. My 1st Italian grinder "with the works" was in the original store in Naugatuck and I was hooked! I love their food and the vast variety of sandwich and salad options. You will never go hungry after eating one of their grinders! I love the bread they use too as it really makes the grinder. I now live in closest to the Danbury location. They are maintaining the same quality and great service of their original store. Keep up the great work!

Unusually honest and fresh and tasty food and food service!!!

Driving north on I 84 through Connecticut, we were looking for a place to grab lunch, and exited onto Newtown Rd. We saw this place, Nardelli's Grinder shoppe. We decided to try it, and it was an absolute delight. The refrigerated food on display looked like a professional catering service had prepared it....very fresh and enticing. We ordered an Eggplant sandwich and a piece of encrusted chicken topped with a baked slice of onion, plus a side of coleslaw. Every bite was delicious and fresh and expertly prepared. The staff is attentive and responsive, as was the manager.

Over Priced plain no taste sandwiches

got a chicken cutlet grinder with mayo lettus sand p and a plain ham on a roll. not sure what all the hype is about. average deli. nothing special. chicken tasted like it was made from a frozen store bought pattie ?? was not made from fresh chicken cutlet. alos paid almost 9 dollars for these two sandwiches. not worth the money . way over priced .

Rude Cashier Spoiled my take away Overcharged/ Terribly Dirty

i was there an hour ago asking for a refund transaction is invoice # 000056 elder chap cashier blatantly yelled at the lovely young man who served me, tossed my utensils in bag like a dog, was so mean to a new customer! , charged me for bread i did not want or receive, overcharged entire order side salad overcharged, and then when i asked the cost of an item he said lady you're gonna be a pain in the ass here so come around and see for yourself ! the guy had a thing in his ear cannot remember is name tag 5 pm on 1/7/23. M Wal and others from LA will never be back!- Dirty entry in a vacant mall area Terrible experience. Refund my ticket and perhaps do not work in the public eye.

Excellent Food & Service

A bus load of people visited the restaurant for lunch with about a 2hr notice. The food was fresh and excellent and the service was exceptional! Highly recommend!

Staff and owners were awesome. Visiting from Springfield MA, Danbury is 2 hours south. Food is fresh and the grinders are huge!!! Dont forget your sour pickle on the way out!!! Massachusetts needs to get on the ball and welcome a franchise to our state Hands down to the Danbury location!!! Making me feel like home

I had the Italian and my guest had the boneless riblet. Both were excellent, the bread fresh, the toppings fresh, and the meat/cheese plentiful. One star off for the cost of the salads/sides.

Great sandwiches

I have never left this place hungry. Sandwiches are big and very tasty. The other treats they sell are delicious as well. It's easy to miss if you are not looking for it though.

Great Italian deli

The food here is very good. I enjoyed the sub sandwiches they make. Its a good place to eat lunch or to bring home food. There is plenty of parking.

Catering & Staff AMAZING

We needed a catered menu for a local event that we were planning from 3000 miles away. Jimmy was AMAZING! From the first call to the rave reviews from our guests, it was an exceptional experience. Jimmy worked with us on our vision, our budget and his follow up was timely and impeccable. He was focused on variety and dietary constraints and always had an eye toward our budget. We looked at other options but they were far more expensive for far less food. We were lucky enough to be taken care of with a great menu by Nardelli's. Our guests all raved about the buffet and it was the absolute best choice to go with this catering option.

We had never eaten here before and the menu seemed a little overwhelming and confusing. The guy serving us was so patient and explained everything to us. The food was really good, the service was impeccable and the prices reasonable.
