While their food is excellent, especially the vegetarian soup, we were extremely disappointed in this establishment for having charged extras for noodles in soup (don't they normally come in soup?) and, even worse, $2 FOR SPICE?????? WTH??? This just leaves such a bad taste that we may not ever go back:(, ESPECIALLY in that this is supposed to be one... More

One of our favorite places. People are so friendly and the good so good. A nice variety from which to choose! Tonight was sizzling prawns. Just the right amount of spice and Bun Bowl with crispy tofu. Light refreshing dressing on lettuce and noodles. And of course we had to take home pho - great for lunch or dinner during... More

I have eaten here many times while passing through Danbury. I was introduced to the place by friends nearly ten years ago, and have come back through the years. This is a small restaurant and is always full. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes attractively presented. The dining room has had an overhaul and is very beautiful to sit... More

We went their on a Thursday evening for dinner. It is not a big place, but it was full. We ordered Fried Rice and Chicken Red Curry. Both dishes were the best that we have ever tasted. They are a definition of how a restaurant can be small and ordinary looking but serve great food. Service was very prompt. We... More

It is a small restaurant with very simple and tasty traditional food from Vietnam. Everything is good specially the Cassava dessert. We go there often and we always had a good experience. It is not an expensive place, it is low key and enjoyable. I recommend it.

My lunch consisted of dumplings and beef pho soup. The dumplings were plump and flavorful. The soup lived up to what other reviewers have indicated. A nicely flavored broth, a large portion of rice noodles, and enough beef and greens to add flavor and a little crunch. The service was great, but the restaurant facility is a little tired.

Pho is one of those Danbury gems that you find out about one day and say "Really? I never knew about that place". Then you wonder when you may next come back. First, be warned, this place can be popular as in full, busy, sometimes a little loud, and you might find yourself deciding to come back another day should... More

We have been eating here for years and the food is always consistently good BUT it is now getting boring. OK guys it's time to add some things to the menu. The same food for all this time is really boring and lots of people agree with this statement. I can only go there once and a while because I've... More

As a Marine who did three tours in Viet Nam, I can say the food at Pho Vietnam is beaucoup good! It is a family-owned restaurant in the small side, with no reservations taken but it is worth the occasional 15 minute wait!
