What are the odds that you'll find a world class restaurant in the small town of Windsor, Colorado? Windsor is located in the middle of the tri-cities area (For Collins, Loveland, and Greeley) in Northern Colorado. It is an adorable town with a great old town and fun antiques stores and some surprisingly good shopping. Even more surprising, though, is... More

This restaurant has an excellent reputation and, based on our experience, it is well deserved. The building front is somewhat nondescript and the interior is cozy and unassuming. All of that belies the serious intentions and capabilities of the chef. Every item we ordered from appetizer through dessert was exquisite in taste and presentation. I cannot remember when I had... I consider myself a pretty good judge of excellent food. I have been preparing food for a caterer for over ten years. The presentation of the food was excellent although portions could have been a little more generous. The menu is inviting. Prepare to bring your wallet with lots of cash as everything is ala carte and pricey per person.... More

I have eaten here a few times. The wait staff is friendly and the food is great. They have a good sized wine list and excellent variety/selections. Food came out in a timely matter and the atmosphere is very intimate without being overly stuffy. The only reason I only give this four stars is that I left hungry the last... More

It is amazing that a five star restaurant such as this is located in little Windsor, Colorado. It easily competes with five star restaurants in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and other big cities. Everything on the menu is great. Roberto and Delaney are first class wait persons. The Christmas prix fixe menu was amazing. Foie gras, salmon oscar, prime... More

My husband and I had dinner here as it had been referred so many times. We were not disappointed. The cocktails were creative and delicious. We decided on the chefs tasting menu. What fun! We each got different dishes for each course so halfway through we would switch plates. Would highly recommend this as we got to try eight different... More

Was in Chimney Park Bistro for dinner 11/19/2016. It's a small restaurant, and has limited seating. Although there were only 3 tables occupied, it was very noisy, due to poor acoustics (hard wood floors and brick walls). Dinner sections were narrow, but very well prepared. The salads were good and we had the bison, but I can't recommend as it... More

I'd made reservations and had visited Chimney Park before. When we pulled up at dusk, my partner said something like "seriously, this is it... It looks abandoned" (to be fair, the exterior lights weren't on and it wasn't dark enough to see the interior lights well). I told him to trust me. We were promptly seated and our server was... Definitely a unique experience with great food! Tons of wines to choose from. My girlfriend and I did the chef's selection and it was great, essentially 6 entrees and 2 deserts! Will definitely be coming back.

We've been to Chimney Park a number of times and it is always a great meal - be sure to try the chef's tasting menu with wine pairings.
