We had a great lunch here. We sat next to the patio-out of the sun but breezy. The food was plentiful and tasty. The shrimp tacos were one of our favorites. The margarita's were delicious.

See and be seen...great locals magnet! Decent Mexican food and great drinks looking up at the bottom of the ski mountain. Watch for exciting slides down Pepi's Face.

I wasn't blown away but we weren't disappointed either. The salsa was very good and some of the meals were as well. Some were just sort of standard. I can't complain about the pricing because everything in a ski resort is over-priced, particularly at one as nice as Vail. We ate outside and there is a great pirate ship playground... More

This is the first place my family and I eat dinner at when we are in Vail. It's right at the base of Gondola One and next to the Pirate Ship Park. The kids loving playing there while waiting for the food while the adults can chill and enjoy the views! Food is great, especially the fajitas!

As Denver residents, we go to Vail for day trips and weekend get-aways. Have frequently eaten at Los Amigos over the years. It has a great location in Vail Village and seating is available that overlooks a village square or the mountain. If the weather is nice they open the glass wall to the patio which faces the mountain, and... More

Really mediocre food -- On a warm day it is kind of fun to sit on the balcony and watch folks try to navigate Pepi's Face -- and usually fail

Ate here...it was not busy at all. The staff tells you to sit where ever. We do. They take forever to come over and take our order. We order...the food takes rather long and arrives. Its ok...not terrible but certainly not great. I would pass on this next time. Oh and they charge for chips and salsa. Lame.

Visited Los Amigos with a family of four on our summer vacation in Vail. Not exactly high end, but the food is decent, and you can't ask for a better view of the mountain from the patio deck and other high top tables with the open sliding doors. Friendly staff as well. Catch an early dinner and you may get... More

We ate here because it's very close to a small playground and to the creek . . . Very kid friendly. The food was above average, the service was great, and they made accommodations for our two granddaughters, 8 and 10 years old. Sitting outside was a bonus on the beautiful Colorado day. It's located at the base of the... More

On our way to Colorado wine country for a weekend getaway, we stopped for lunch. We love Mexican food and so we decided to try this out. The margaritas were very tasty. Our server gave us his recommendations and they did not disappoint (dulce vita). We also ordered the chips and queso with chorizo-very yummy. For lunch we shared the... More

Los Amigos, Vail's oldest Mexican restaurant, offers fine Mexican dining at reasonable prices for both lunch and dinner. Los Amigos has been anchored at the top of Bridge Street since 1972. With Vail Villages best view of the slopes, winter and summer, Los Amigos' outside deck is always occupied with folks having a margarita watching skiers trying one last plunge down Pepi's Face or watching their kids play at Pirate Ship Park. Among our veteran staff, we draw inspiration from our Hispanic kitchen who have created unique authentic Mexican dishes like Steak Tacos: a delicious blend of sautéed diced sirloin steak, cilantro, onions in white corn tortillas with special tomatilla sauce. Great Atmosphere, Great Food, Great Price, Family Friendly.
