This is the classic Vail apres ski destination in the Vail Village. Perfectly located at the bottom of the central area of the mountain. Fantastic food, but this is probably the most expensive place to grab a bite!

One of the better restaurants we ate at this year, the sommelier is excellent. Most of our meals were very tasty but overly rich - nothing to balance the flavours which were otherwise very good. It was a feature of most plates, but could easily be fixed if the chef was inclined. Eg change the butter beans with the salmon... More
Haven't been received in a restaurant that badly in a long time! We sat at the bar waiting for a table outside to be available, and the bartender, a guy with long hair told us that we would have to get up and leave if guests wanted to seat at the bar. That guy should get up and find a... More
This was the only reservation we could get for dinner the night we came and I was a little concerned bc of the very uneven reviews on OT. (It was our first time in Vail and our trip had been planned kind of last minute . . . ) Anyway, the staff is very sweet & moderately trained, but the... More
We love to stop in the Larkspur for a drink (Coffee for me...Wine for him) :) immediately after we finish skiing. It is always a fun atmosphere. Great place to chat about your skiing adventures!
We had drinks here a number of times whilst snowboarding in Vail and very much enjoyed it. Located right at the bottom of the main ski lift on the golden ridge side it is well located and has a good quality cocktail bar and excellent service whilst remaining relaxed. Behind is a good quality restaurant which is hidden from the... More
Best tomato soup in Vail. Great burger; skinny fries get cold too soon. Accommodating staff. Lovely dining room with comfortable booths. Ski-in @ Golden Peak. Good Champagne by the glass, good espresso. Could do without the open kitchen staff guy singing (badly) loudly.....I suspect his co-workers could too!
We had dinner last night for my birthday and we had a party of 12. The service was so slow and our waiter seemed very confused. The food was wonderful!!! Since they have gone to two nights a week for dinner, the staff needs more training!!!
Many thanks to Austin, our server, for coordinating an excellent dinner experience for my family and friends (6 total). Throughout each course, from beginning to end, Austin delivered a consistently high level of service that complimented creative and delicious menu offerings, in addition to a truly impressive wine list. The NY strip, lobster ravioli and pork chop were each wonderful tasting... More
