A nice out-of-the-way place in Lionshead, right near the ice skating rink. The service is friendly, the coffee is perfect, and there is a good selection of sandwich and soup type items, all made hot and fresh for you. Save room for the wonderful gelato when you are through. Considering you are in Vail, the prices are quite reasonable. More... More

This place is tucked away in Lionshead but it's worth seeking it out. They had a comprehensive gelato selection and lots of tasty beverages and coffee. The staff was friendly, although they got a bit flustered with a rush of customers. If you want great coffee or sweets in Vail, look for this place!

We went for dinner - I had a brie and mushroom crepe which was very good until I found a large piece of inedible rind in my crepe. But - the gelato made up for everything - I tried three flavors and all were delicious. The one person working in the café was very nice, cooked and served and provided... More

Very friendly and personable person helping at the counter. The food was prepared by the same person while we waited, and it was delicious.

Little coffee shop in Lionshead village. In addition to coffee, espresso, cappuccino, etc. they offer gelato choices and even dinner menu. Friendly staff, definitely recommend.

We come to Rimini's every time we ski in Vail. They have great gelato and coffee drinks. We have even left the mountain to have lunch sine it is better and less expensive than in the On mountain eateries.

The setting and ambience of Rimini in itself is something to transport you to a different world. It is a great place for baked goods, special drinks and of course authentic gelato. Seating is limited but they do have outdoor seating available as well with a beautiful view of the square and surrounding buildings. A must when you're in Vail... More

Starbucks was packed, so we walked to the next place we could find for a coffee. $4 for a large, regular coffee and $4 for a small americano, and they only offered one size americano. Surprisingly, Starbucks would have cost less and provided much better coffee.

Since giving up coffee a number of years ago, I have been a devoted chai tea drinker. I usually shy away from anything made with powder. Unfortunately, even though a supposed coffee shop competing with the Starbucks nearby, I was sorely disappointed. My husband's iced mocha was however not bad.

This quaint shop in Lionshead Village provided a relaxing stop during a short visit to this shopping area. The gelato was delicious and the servings were generous. The variety was impressive, too. The staff was friendly and engaging.

Thank Ed D
