Excellent food, drinks and, especially, service by Andy and Chris. These gentlemen took outstanding care of an entire wedding party during a hectic week and weekend, and smiled throughout.

I happened upon this spot when looking for high altitude photos; and ended up having one of the best meals ever. We had the trout and salmon. Worth the drive, even if you don't stay at the inn.

Andy and his staff welcomed us like we were family and the evening built from there. Our party of 3 had fresh trout and vegetables, bison steak skirt and a rack of ribs. All were cooked to perfection and hit the spot. The atmosphere is just wonderful and the history is very interesting. Get here before sunset and watch it... More

Being in Frisco for the weekend, we decided to drive to Twin Lakes for dinner at the Twin Lakes Inn which lies on the shores of two large glacial lakes in the midst of stunning Rocky Mountain beauty. The Inn has been in operation for more than a century. It is rustic and charming. The friendly staff takes great care... More

I ate here because I stayed at the Twin Lakes Inn and knew from conversation at the bar the night before that the staff really took pride in their restaurant. I was not disappointed in the least. The food was terrific and my waitress was very attentive. I hate eating by myself but glad I didn't miss this meal.

this is fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. The steak and wine we had was as good as you will find anywhere. Do not pass this place up.

Great food, friendly service, unique atmosphere. It's off the beaten path - but in a good way. Only open for late lunch (2pm onward) and dinner in the summer season.

Don't bother going to town for lower cost food... there isn't any lower cost and for sure no better tasting. Just arrive early because they have limited availability as they need to guess on how many visitors they will have and if you get there late you could miss out... and it will be your loss. Rustic, great staff, if... More

Description
The restaurant inside The Twin Lakes Inn opens May 25 for its 2017 season. We offer lodging guests, locals and visitors a sampling of Colorado culinary specialties within its historic setting. The Dayton Dining Room takes its name from the original name - Dayton - given to Twin Lakes Village back in the 1800s. Our capable kitchen and service staff make sure that every guest enjoys a relaxed and scrumptious dining experience. Our meals feature comfortable Colorado and American cuisine served just the way you love it! Due to seating limits required by the fire dept, dining reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends and during the peak months of July and August.
