Perfectly HONEST review with no skewed exaggerations! After researching 30-40 restaurants in Telluride, we decided to make reservations at La Marmotte for our 2nd night in town. After a great time but lackluster meal at Allred's on the first night, we were looking forward to...More

In the past (years ago) this was one of our favorite restaurants in Telluride. Since then it has changed ownership and chefs. All fine dining restaurants in Telluride are pricey and this is no exception. We are from Charleston, SC, where we are fortunate to...More

Family group of 10 all enjoyed dinner. Service was a little slow and dessert was way to long in the delivery but the food and wine were good and the ambience, inside, pleasant.

Neither the cocktail list nor the wine list had been updated - our first choices in both categories were no longer available. That was weird for such a nice place. The onion and goat cheese tart was a standout! The service was friendly if a...More

We were a party of 6 eating early in the evening. the last time I came was probably over 20 years ago. This time it was ok but not inexpensive for the somewhat haphazard service levels. The meat dishes were ho hum - not cooked...More

I am sorry your experience at La Marmotte is not meet your expectations. Do you remember who your server was so I can discuss this with him/her. Our vegetarian dish is called Spaghetti Squash 'Pasta', but it, you're right, does not actually contain pasta. It...More

Great dinner off season at the bar. Bar menu is well priced and the service was great. Cozy and nice, it was our perfect first night in Telluride. Will absolutely be back.

We went to dinner early on an unusually hot day, appreciating the cool dark romantic interior. The Steak Frites and Grilled chicken were great, and we appreciated the fresh warm bread. Low key service helped us relax and enjoy the good food.

We have eaten at La Marmotte several times and loved it! The atmosphere is great, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the food is fantastic. We went so far as to host our wedding reception here and it was the perfect spot. They were...More

We had a memorable meal last night at La Marmotte. Our group enjoyed fresh oysters, wild boar sausage, coq au vin and seared scallops. All perfectly prepared with excellent service - friendly and available yet quietly discreet. This restaurant is fairly small, warmly furnished and...More
