Dining room is split. No fire in the fireplace. The roasted chicken was nice and tender. The sauerbraten was a disappointment. The service was average. The brats were excellent. The wine list left some room for improvement. But, the beer list was excellent. Just need more menu choices for guests who don't like heavy sausage entrees.

Pretty good food and at the condo so no long walk. Good service. There isn't much else to say but I have to use 100 characters.

Our kids really enjoyed having cheese fondue for the first time and chocolate dessert fondue. We recommend the trout. My daughter likes the steak on the kids menu. Great variety if you don’t like fondue or German. I love the spiced wine!

I think this place would be a 4 or 5 star. But my experience was limited to NYE. Given that it was NYE, there was a limited menu; Starter, Main, Desert. This is billed as a German restaurant, but the menu on NYE was far from German cuisine. I was expecting something more authentic. The standard menu looks awesome, but... More

My family and I visited the Edge for dinner recently. It was an outstanding experience. Our server was excellent and very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The goulash was excellent. My younger son had the red deer which was also outstanding.I have the wiener schnitzel, Vienna style and my other son had it with Gypsy sauce and both styles... More

We came for Xmas dinner especially for the fondue. Cheese was quite powdery and not elastic enough for me. I prefer the Swiss style of fondue. Servers were very attentive and friendly

What more could you ask for than comfy German food in an Alpine setting. My wife and I had recently been to Germany. We were surprised to find that the food at The Edge was very authentic and as good if not better than what we had found in Germany! Also, the wait staff was very friendly and helpful and... More

My wife and I got the schnitzel, both caper sauce and gypsy sauce were very good. Meal was great and portions were large. Sides were tasty. Spaetzl wasn't superb but ok (personal preference for this is drenched in browned butter). Daughter had the wurst plate and I stole some of hers too, very tasty! Service was excellent!

That is a direct quote from my husband about our dinner here during our weekend stay in Snowmass! The entire meal was delicious from the fresh baked pretzels they bring out in the bread basket to the satisfying entrées. I'm gluten-free and they even offered me gluten-free bread, without an extra charge! My husband gets Schnitzel wherever he can and... More
