Went during restaurant week. The Sea Bass was on strike, occupying my mouth with several pieces of cartilage. I don't drink so my tastebuds are fully alive. This bass had no flavor. Traded Mr. bass for Mr. dishrag, sold as a steak. The Salmon appetizer had no discernable relationship to the taste of salmon. The arugula salad possessed not a... More

We have been dining at Gabriel's in Sedalia, Colorado for nearly as many years as we've living in Colorado (30) and it has always been our 'go to' restaurant for life celebrations, out-of-town company and when we wanted a great meal with a great atmosphere and wonderful service. We are always glad when our favorite waitress, Vera, is working because... More

Great time and a great place for a romantic date. Out of the way a bit but very nice. Enjoyed the outside deck.

I was in charge of organizing a 60th anniversary dinner for my entire family; herding cats! Jan and Matthew, the owners, went above and beyond in taking care of all of us. They promptly returned phone calls and made suggestions that would assure an incredible evening for my parents! The three course meal was excellent and the servers were attentive... More

This is a regular Happy Hour spot for us -- food is excellent and drinks are all reasonably priced. Those that we meet in the bar who are dining, all report many return visits. Great patio in warm weather. Mojitos (3 types of home grown mint) are to die for. We think so highly of Gabriel's and their staff that... More

This is our regular and favorite Happy Hour bar/restaurant and we have just had a wonderful filet mignon slider (my wife) and rare ahi tuna salad (me), both of main course size. We indulged and finished it off with sharing a 3-chocolate mousse dessert, which was too big to finish. Incidentally, their mojitos are to die for, with 3 types... More

We've been here many, many times for dinner and have never been disappointed. We stopped in for some live music and happy hour last Sunday and had a wonderful time! It was one guy and his guitar (some backup electronic music). We enjoyed a few glasses of wine and the pulled pork sliders. Both were delicious! The view is amazing...only... More

if you are looking for a gourmet experience south of the Denver metroplex, this is your place. Beautifully prepared food in a cosy Victorian house in Sedalia. This is a four course dinner for a reasonable price. Owned by the same people for over 30 years.

I have heard great things about this restaurant for years. We finally tried it and just don’t see the hype. We were treated very nice but the service was slow, our disappointment was mostly in the food. My chicken was dry, served slightly warm at best and lack any great flavor. My wife’s diner was cold and served with brussel... More

A meal at Gabriel's is a special occasion splurge. The prices are high but include a choice of an appetizer, soup or salad, and the entree, which comes with vegetables. The setting is sophisticated and quaint, in an old house right next to the railroad tracks (added taste of realistic atmosphere with mile-long coal trains at no extra charge). Dining... More
