Loved this place from my first freindly greeting. The kind of place where u can grab a stool at the bar or a quaint table with a friend. Food is so fresh and cooked with love. Next best thing to eating at Grandmas.

The food was wonderful New Mexican style. Green Chile is very good homemade. The server was running hard to make sure everyone was served. This is a very small place off the beaten path with 15 seats. The signs take you back to a different time. They only ask that you respect the place. Signs ask you to shut your... More

FOOD: The food here is first rate and delicious! It is more of a New Mexico style Mexican food. Both the red and green chile are must haves! They do have an American breakfast option and I believe also a burger or two. The breakfast burrito is my favorite. Everytime we are in, the fast sellers are their tamales, which... More

If you manage to arrive when they are actually open (their hours are beyond weird) and catch them on a good day, you'll enjoy some excellent food. I always get their huevos rancheros. But, more often than not, the service is horrible. I think they've established a following that guarantees them some level of business despite their crappy attitude. They're... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Martinez Cafe! We were there early, so we didn't have to wait. We were impressed with the many, authentic Mexican choices on the menu and the reasonable prices. We loved the "no cell phone" rule and the simple, quiet dining experience. We look forward to dining there often.

Very rude and obnoxious staff. Poor service. The food was average after a long wait. There are too many rules for patrons to follow. The entire experience is least bit relaxing and very stressful.

The food is wonderful. Do not leave your cell phone turned on, or if it goes off, out you go. Do not have unruly kids. It is a no nonsense kind of place with wonderful wonderful and we love it...

What a quaint cafe with excellent food. My husband had the Mexican breakfast and I had the pumpkin pancakes. The service was very good and a very good value.

I found this place to be the type of restaurant that we are losing in this country, It is small and has a very loyal local clientele. However, they have this great quiet atmosphere and they pump out great food fast from a small kitchen. I also love seeing the different pieces of artwork that are for sale in the... More
