My wife and I went for our 20th Anniversary and I had contacted them ahead of time asking for a nice table with a view. When we got there we were seated by a window at a very cramped table. We were also seated next to a large family that was a bit wound up. The rest of the restaurant... More

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and it was great. The building itself is very beautiful and it was a nice meal. They have some wild game on the menu – which we enjoy. We got the rattlesnake poppers and they were very good. My husband had the mixed grill which included wild boar, elk and some... More

Not sure what anyone could gripe about this place. Sometimes good things take awhile to cook, so be patient and order an app or two. Enjoy you're night and a glass of wine. Don't go here if you are in a hurry. It's an experience that you're after and great food, then this is your place. That being said, we... More

My son loved exotic meats and this was the go to place. They have a wonderful section called small plate teasers that allow you to sample things at a reasonable price. We had wild boar kabobs with watermelon, antelope, rattlesnake poppers, elk, lamb and the most delicious rosemary bread. All small servings but enough to satisfy us but not make... More

Spoke to manager before coming to restaurant. He was so friendly and positive that we decided to go to have our anniversary dinner there. He came by our table and was again very friendly. He said that our server "would take care of us." She turned out to be very abrupt, unsmiling, frequently scowling and just not one who enhanced... More

We went here for a birthday and it was a nice surprise that if it is your actual birthday date, the entree (specials excluded) is free :) It was nice atmosphere and the entrees were good although the appetizers were very small portions. For example the order of mussels only had 10 mussels. Most of us had the beef tenderlion... More

Warm Colorado feel. They serve "Colorado cuisine" that is very tasty. Definitely a more rustic- type decor, much like older elegant Colorado homes. Beautiful outdoor setting right under the mountains and next to an absolutely wonderful bed and breakfast called Red Crags Inn within walking distance.

went for our anniversary, it was a cold night, we WANTED to go do Denver to try DBar desserts--but feared the weather. Upon arrival we were immediately sent to the bar- as the table was being redone (2 of us in party and not 3- as originally thought, but how is that a big deal??)--about to order a drink, bartender...
