My favorite fish - Walleye - in Colorado! Ive been eating Walleye in Minnesota since a child, and am very picky about it. The Snake Saloon prepares it perfectly. Another surprise is how funky the bar is, and how elegant the dining room is (same food.) So you can choose where to eat, depending on whether you're feeling funky or... More

Wonderful food; attentive service; varied menu. It was one of the few places open when we visited during non-ski season.

This place is two locales in one. Go to the bar side for some average drinks, bar food and some pool in a neat old bar. Then go to the steakhouse side for some overpriced steaks and great potato casserole. Cranky bartender and busy staff made customer service suffer. The cool environment of the bar saved this rating. If I... More

Nice little bar, bud light on tap is $4.50 per glass (16 Oz?). We didn't think the band was ever going to begin playing and they were only so-so but that is luck of the draw. One pool table, a couple of TV. Not a bad place.

We have been dining here for years. You can dress up or show up in jeans. Service is outstanding when you get Randy as your waiter and it is very good with everyone else. The food is wonderful and the prices are fairly reasonable for Summit County.

My husband took our daughter and me there for my birthday dinner. We had the filet Oscar, rainbow trout and Black Forest pork chops. Everything was very good, and the "potatoes du jour", which were cheesy potatoes, were excellent. The prices were high, yet average for the area.

Service was acceptable and food (Prime Rib and Trout) was just ok. Prices are high for drinks. Acceptable in a pinch, but nothing special

Still a fine place for a dinner a bit upscale. Those seeking something informal may dine in the bar, which is usually lively later in the evening. A log house décor the interior is warm, service is friendly and the menu more continental than other places in Summit County. The food is good and the experience a bit more refined... More

The atmosphere and service were great. My husband had the steak and I am a firm believer you can't ruin a good steak but this was not the case here. I had the prime rib which was amazing. The prices were pretty high but nothing outrageous. Definitely more for couples, granted we were the youngest couple there but still a... More

Definitely a locals bar, we strolled in for some live music on a Friday night. Service was slow at best, almost an inconvenience by ordering a drink and halting their conversation with friends. Band was terrible but you can't blame Snake River for that.
