This place is the definition of an awesome small town coffee shop. We were on our way to a ski resort (keystone) and I needed coffee. When we travel we try to avoid Starbucks to enjoy local coffees. This place popped up on trip advisor...More

We stopped here to meet friends and chose the coffee shop in the recommendations of reviewers. The shop itself is certainly not minimalist with decorations and items for sale occupying every available space. Gives it quite an interesting atmosphere- maybe a little ‘twee’- but fun....More

This is a cozy place to come in to have a bite to eat with or without a coffee. My husband had an Americano, which was rich, bold and almost chocolatey tasting (yes, I had to taste it). We had their homemade breakfast burritos for...More

Quaint cafe serving a selection of house roasted coffees and a variety of teas. I can’t comment about the coffee but I found my London Fog Tea pretty average and not worth the almost $5 for a cup.

What a great little coffee shop. We stopped for a late morning cup of coffee. Had two great options one with a medium small crop coffee and a stronger bold coffee. They let you sample before you select your cup. Nice option. They have all...More

We enjoyed, bagels, muffins, coffee and chai tea at this quaint little shop. The decorations are unique and provide a positive vibe to start the day.

This was a great Trip Advisor find. Great pastries and coffee. Worth the rating it’s earned! The line at the counter moved along quickly and was well worth it.

I believe you may be referring to the Frothydoodle. An eggless cookie made with molasses, rolled oats, organic unsweetened coconut, sugars, flour, butter, cinnamon and other yummy spices.

Description
The Frothy Cup is an independent coffee roaster of premium, estate grown specialty coffee. We offer single origin and blended Fair Trade Organic and Rainforest Alliance coffee as well as home made fresh baked bakery goods, breakfast burritos and healthy smoothies. Located in the historic Zeller building built in 1885, the location at 1510 Miner Street in downtown Idaho Springs has been a coffee roasting business for over 25 years. In December 2014 Glenda and Randy Watson purchased the business and renamed it The Frothy Cup. We offer our guests a warm and comfortable, home-like environment where anyone can enjoy what we believe is the best coffee and espresso they have ever had, as well as baked goods and smoothies made with mostly organic and non-GMO ingredients.
