The food here is served in big portions, huge portions actually. Our fave is the Fish and Chips. We take guests up specifically to have that and craft brews. You get two giant pieces of fish and a basket full of fries. Normal eaters can split it and call it good. My husband is not normal, he eats a whole... More
Overall, we had a good experience here. We stumbled across this place after a day of skiing and were looking for a place to get some dinner and a beer. We usually try to avoid chain restaurants when traveling, because we can get that at home. The food and brew menus were eclectic and offered just about the right amount... More
So I reviewed Tommyknocker a couple of years ago, and felt I should publish a second review. The first time we went was an anomaly. We have since eaten here, probably 5 times with various groups of people traveling in and out of the mountains. Each time it has been fabulous. The beer has been good, the service has been... More
Duck wings=amazing. Green chili is spicy and delicious. The black IPA is what's up. Fun place to stop on the way home. Better like the smell of a brewery, cuz they make beer constantly! I love it, just warning those with sensitive noses.
Place was hopping and we had quite a long wait on a Saturday afternoon. (Don't believe it if they say the wait is 15 minutes.) Next time we will order one and share... More

The waiter was very knowledgeable when I asked questions, and even had a great suggestion ready when a beer I requested... More
We stopped at Tommyknocker for lunch on our way back to Denver and really enjoyed it. I ordered a Reuben sandwich. It had a good portion or thinly sliced corned beef, which swiss cheese and saurkraut that wasn't too strong. The bread was a bit greasy and the fries were a bit hard and cold. My side salad was amazing.... More
