This place makes good sushi but I think it is more innovative than traditional. Many the sushi are saucy (made with mayonnaise, drizzled with Sriracha or tare, etc), using cream cheese or fried components. This is fine and they have a lot of fun with their sushi. I am just more a traditionalist. But, you know what, they accommodate me.... More

My test dish for most Asian restaurants is their dumplings - pot stickers in particular. No Coast's are house-made and delicious little bundles of crispy goodness. Some of the best I have had anywhere. In my experience that says a lot about how the kitchen approaches their business. (If you can't make a good pot sticker, well...) Their sushi is... More

"Betty" and I had gone to see a movie she wanted to see (LALA Land) -- which I didn't especially want to see, but it was her birthday ... so. No, we're NOT reviewing THAT (but she had high expectations and was somewhat disappointed, whereas I had no expectations and enjoyed the movie, a lot). And during the movie I... More

My hubby and I went here for our anniversary the service was great the food was good to but defiantly not the best sushi I've had. My husband doesn't eat such I but because it was a special he was open to trying new things. He was not happy with his choice and asked if he could have something else... More

For the second time we have visited this place, the rice in the sushi roll was too mushy and soft. (I base this on the sushi I had growing up and the time I spent in Japan.) It was so soggy that the norii was chewy. It seems, too, that the shrimp tempura in the appetizer was not an entire... More

We crave the fruit gyozas when we are at home in Minnesota and make sure we always stop in on vacation. Service is fantastic (thanks Holly) and the food is always excellent. They are now open for lunch too. This location is better than the Fruita branch. OYSTERS - Awesome fried oysters on the half shell served with fresh wasabi... More

Have visited on multiple occasions. Always enjoy our meals. This visit I tried the shrimp hibachi and was in love. Absolutely the best meal I have ordered here. Flavorful and cooked to perfection. We will definitely return.

We went there for a birthday lunch. The service was outstanding, the food was good, and they accommodated seven of us very easily. The prices are more upper range for the sushi.
