Relaxed, laid back atmosphere and excellent Louisiana food in this decidedly not trendy restaurant. This was probably our 4th time there and it is consistently good. Bring a jacket and plan to sit outside as inside is small. Lots of people do take out too....More

This is not haute cuisine. It is down-home, southern, cajun eats. Seemed pretty authentic to me but I'm not an expert. I loved the outdoor seating which was dog friendly. And the waitstaff were great! Free samples of five popular dishes got us off to...More

Chicken and sausage gumbo so spicy you could not taste any flavor. Gratuitous use of red pepper. They were out of other Foods at 1 p.m. Understaffed and unable to probably provide table service. You can do better in Frisco.

We took a chance to visit the Lost Cajun seeking an alternative to the typical sandwich shops here. Their place is pretty rustic and very informal with outdoor picnic table seating. Unless one of the few shaded tables are available, it can be extremely warm...More

Being a Louisiana native, I was a little dubious about Cajun food in the high country. The menu is representative of what I'd expect back home, and my dish was as good as what I'd expect there. Maybe better.
