When we had dinner here, it was being operated by Vinny’s Restaurant whose usual premises were under renovation. We ate at an outside table. Dinner was delicious. My friend raved about the duck confit. I had the tofu noodle bowl. I was apprehensive about ordering...an Asian-style dish at a restaurant that didn’t feature Asian food. The coconut crusted tofu was awesome and unlike any tofu I’d eaten. The slightly spicy noodles and vegetables were delicious. Portions were generous. Excellent meal.More

Couldn’t get into our romantic standby Ski Tip Lodge, so we tried this and loved it! Doug, our server, took his time and walked us through the wine list and menu. Kudos to Doug! Tomato bisque soup and pickled beets pre-dinner, short ribs and lamb...shank for dinner were all exceptional. Portions were generous. Wine was great. This is a fine-dining establishment with a great chef and staff. Prices are reasonable considering, but not inexpensive. Reservations pretty much required. Highly recommend.More

This was my first in-dining experience in a year and it was truly magical! If you have never been, I highly recommend going for happy hour or a full meal. The bar is a work of art - carved wood that is exquisite to look...at. The fireplace makes for a cozy and lovely ambiance. The food was extraordinary as was the wine. The service was also top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would be eager to come back!More

Had dinner for 4 with a $70 bottle of wine for over $300, lots if money for an average meal, Skip the chicken dishes as too much money for too little quality’. Want a steak Go cook your own. Not sure why people like this...place as the setting is average, service was good. Value was poor ..More

We dropped in for dinner and the professionalism and earnestness of the staff matched their knowledge and know how. Enjoyed the drinks and food and they made our kids feel special—while selecting a special bottle of wine for us that didn’t break the bank. Delicious...and cozy!More

Decided to try based on local recommendation for a good steak in the Breckenridge area. Was able to make same day reservation for six at 6:30pm on a Thursday. The Breckenridge steakhouses did not have any reasonable time slots. The restaurant is a short drive...from Breckenridge located on Main Street just passed all the shops. Easily found parking spot. From the outside it appears unassuming but inside is great. Large bar in open format with high ceiling and bright cool lighting. We had a drink at bar before heading to table. For dinner all the food was excellent. Filets and Ribeyes were delicious along with the onion, asparagus and side of choice. The cauliflower appetizer was amazing and I never eat cauliflower. Good wine selection although the first choice Bordeaux was not available but found a suitable Chianti. The creme brûlée was exceptional. Cinnamon spiced ice cream was ok. The service was very good although a little slow more like a European pace. The dining area was a little warm and felt like a comfortable tavern. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner outing. Frisco prime is definitely a hidden gem.More

We went twice to this restaurant because the food and the service was good. Yesterday was not the case. I think restaurants need to be more involved in "service quality training for the employees." When I am paying this much for a meal I expect...to be treated with professionalism and courtesy. Our server was condescending and it took her forever to take our drinks and to bring them back. It took her forever to take our order... We tried to catch the attention of another server to ask him a question and he decided to ignore us completely... and btw, we did made eye contact with him...:-( Our food arrived in a timely manner but our server removed my bread plate (that I was still eating) without asking if I was done. Food was good as it was the last time. We had to wait over 20 minutes for her to come back and remove the plates and at that moment we asked for 2 separate checks. She came back after 10 minutes with only 1 check... when we reminded that it was 2 checks she got sassy and snatched the check from my husbands hands. It took her another 10 minutes to return with the checks... I don't think I have to say more.More

We went for New Year’s eve pre-fix menu. For $82 I got a salad, oysters Rockefeller (best thing that I had) and the filet Oscar. I ordered the steak medium but was given a bleeding piece of meat. I know that some chefs don’t like...to cook steaks, but one would think that with prime in the name of the restaurant, your steak would be cooked as you ordered it. My spouse’s pork chop was quite under done as well. Very expensive and disappointing meal.More
