Started out with some amazingly fresh oysters (for being landlocked in Colorado), then finished off with a special of Filet with a Crab Cake. Best meal of our trip (Ouray, Silverton, Montrose and Durango). Can't wait to go back again. May want to make a reservation. We didn't think of this, but fortunately were still able to get a seat.

Had our Honeymoon dinner there. Slight miss fire on the Lobster Tail, however the server and the chef quickly recovered with a replacement of Mahi Mahi. Done to perfection, Risotto was a perfect complement. My Fruitti di Mare was spot on. Some of the best seafood I've ever had, especially for a landlocked state.

Good service and okay ambience, but boring, mediocre and over-priced food. My wife's $30+ dollar prime rib looked and tasted like road kill. My salmon was overcooked. The wine was...I don't remember, and I don't want to remember. If you want average, you've found it.

My husband and I went to The Red Snapper at about 1pm on a Tuesday to celebrate my husbands birthday since his favorite is seafood. We were seated quick enough but after that we barely saw our server "Charlie" at all. My husband ordered crab cakes and pork pot stickers (which are appetizers) and I ordered the Executive Lunch which... More

Located a block off main street and a real gem. Many locals in restaurant that night. They have an exceptional chef and our waiter (also bartender that evening) was very pleasant to talk with. Food was exceptional and bar drinks were delicious. We'd return without question.

This restaurant was one of a few places recommended by our hotel staff so thought we'd give it a try. We experienced courteous and fairly quick service despite being quite crowded at the time. Our appetizer of steamed clams was an appropriate portion and very good. We had the prime rib and rib eye steak which were both cooked just... More

We have been back here several times over the years and it is consistently good. The fish is fresh and the pasta is great. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The only negative is the salad bar. The $9.50 is a bit much for some lettuce and stuff.

One of the things I had missed since moving to Durango five years ago is a restaurant with a salad bar for lunch. I just couldn't find one until some friends took us to the Red Snapper for lunch, where I discovered that their lunch specialty is soup and salad bar. I had never considered the place because (as the... More

This restaurant was one of my go to places whenever I came to Durango. Stopped in with my wife this last visit and what a let down, salad bar was the highlight. Service took forever, people who sat after us got their main course before us. Prime rib was tough and had no flavor. Crap legs were freshly unfrozen and... More
