We tried several other places but this is the only seat we could find on a busy week after Christmas. The food was average. We would not go back since there are better options in Durango.

Bad service-don't trust the sanitation. December 30th 2016, my Family and I stayed in Durango (as we have for years) to enjoy the skiing in Wolf creek and the beauty of south west Colorado. We have eaten at Old Timers in the past and one of my Children is very nostalgic and wanted to eat at Old Timers (I would... More

We decided to give Olde Tymer's Cafe a try... My husband and I both ordered a salad to go.. Got back to the hotel, and we didn't have forks or napkins.. Started eating... the lettuce in my salad was so brown and orange... I could not eat any of it... I was so disappointed... I called and talked to the... More

Had the Colorado Plateau burger which was amazing and a Green Chile Philly which was pretty tasty as well. I'm telling you that burger had ham, bacon, jack, provolone and a fabulous green chile sauce all on Texas toast. I'm salivating thinking about it.

This is basic bar fare... but the burgers do stand out. I like their side salad too. They have crispy fried tater tots that rock! I have heard that the fried zucchini stick are great as well. Don't expect ambiance, this is a bar with TVs blaring sports at all times and it can get CROWDED! I prefer take-out, unless... More

A classic place with a wonderful old-fashioned bar where the locals seem to hang out, which is usually a good sign. Had a first-rate green chile burger and fries.

We stopped in on recommendation of a local for dinner. They have mainly hamburgers and sandwiches. My wife had a french dip and I had a patty melt. Her french dip was on the medium size and was cooked with just a hint of pink. She really liked it. My patty melt was one of the best I've ever had... More

Loved the ambiance. Delicious sandwiches. I think I got a Philly cheesesteak, we had fries and salads too. All was great and loved the decor and feel of the space. I want to bring my husband!
