This is a very large, popular brewer in Durango. It was a great place for lunch and was packed at night for dinner, as well. Located just a few blocks from downtown.

My husband and I were seated right next to an open window, so we really enjoyed the fresh air and watching people. Being a brewery, we of course had a great selection of beers, and we both really enjoyed our choices. The food was very...More

We're from out of town and a friend recommended this restaurant to us. That was December of 2015. Now every time we're in town, we stop and have something to eat. Their French dip is probably the best I've had. So good, we've eaten there...More

Nice Micro-brewery and eatery of American foods. Staff was very courteous and friendly. The service was fast and the food was very tasty. Enjoyed the laid-back environment, multi televisions, variety of music, and brewery themed ambience. Prices were reasonable and portions just right.

Great variety of beers, well crafted and true to their styles. As a party of four with different tastes, we sampled a few and each was well described on the beer menu. Our waiter did a good job of helping to pair styles with food...More

Steamworks Brewery was highly recommended and there was a waiting line. That was odd as there were plenty of empty tables inside and on the deck. We went to pass the time in the bar, but were not waited on. It appears that Steamworks was...More

Steamworks Brewing Co. Opened its doors in Durango in September 1996. A favorite watering hole for locals and visitors alike, the brewpub has much more to offer than award-winning craft beer. Known as a town meeting place, Steamworks enjoys a bustling, fun environment. Steamworks' culinary program is unmatched in the region in both breadth and quality of offerings. The "gastropub" fare includes regionally-raised meats and sustainable seafood. Healthy salads, delicious pizzas, spicy Southwestern-style dishes, and vegetarian & gluten-free offerings provide something for everyone who's hungry. The Steam Engine Lager is "arguably the best American - Style Amber Lager in the world" as it has garnered four Gold Medals, a Silver and a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) over the years and also has taken a Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup (WBC). Steamworks has won a total of twelve GABF medals, and two WBC medals. The brewpub maintains up to 18 styles of beer on tap.
