If you're hankering for a salad, though I think everyone else seemed happy with their choices, try the chop salad. It was delicious. Restaurant was jumping when my husband and I went there, and we found seats at the bar, always one of our favorite places to sit in any casual restaurant. Beer was delicious, bartender was personable, and food... More

I had a very good burger and a very excellent stout sitting outside on a pretty day. Definitely a great lunch spot and I would love to try more of their beers!

We were in town for one day and a local shop owner that i visited to get quarters to feed the parking meters recommended Steamworks. We had the bacon and beef brisket French Dip and a burger. Great food. No problems recommending Steamworks in Durango.

Great place, great food, great service. Fun place for lunch or dinner. They sponsor a local mountain bike race where the route comes in their front door and out the back door. I'd like to be there for that event!

Wow! We stumbled onto this place and it's a gem! Be prepared for a short wait for a table but it's definitely worth it. Their award winning beers are great and the staff are incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable, ours, Ari, even ordered tasters for us based on our short conversation about English beer! The atmosphere is lively and the kids... More

Steam works was quite busy when we arrived at about 6:30 p.m., but we accepted a buzzer and agreed to an approximately 20 minute wait. It was exactly 20 minutes later that we were shown to a hi-top in the bar. Our server was very informative and warned us that one of our menu selections was quite spicy as ordered,... More

The staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant our first night in town so we tried it -- outstanding food!! In fact, we liked it so much we went back the night before leaving town. We had a veggie pizza that was one of the best we've ever tried!!! Great food and personable staff -- if in the area this... More

We did not eat lunch & was sure ready for dinner. I had the cup of clam chowder, Cesar salad & chicken. The chicken was a add on & our server said, "we can do that!" My Hubby had the fish tacos & fries. The servings are very generous. The service is great! This was the second time we have... More

Description
Steamworks Brewing Co. Opened its doors in Durango in September 1996. A favorite watering hole for locals and visitors alike, the brewpub has much more to offer than award-winning craft beer. Known as a town meeting place, Steamworks enjoys a bustling, fun environment. Steamworks' culinary program is unmatched in the region in both breadth and quality of offerings. The "gastropub" fare includes regionally-raised meats and sustainable seafood. Healthy salads, delicious pizzas, spicy Southwestern-style dishes, and vegetarian & gluten-free offerings provide something for everyone who's hungry. The Steam Engine Lager is "arguably the best American - Style Amber Lager in the world" as it has garnered four Gold Medals, a Silver and a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) over the years and also has taken a Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup (WBC). Steamworks has won a total of twelve GABF medals, and two WBC medals. The brewpub maintains up to 18 styles of beer on tap.
