Visited with a group of 8 during a busy but not crazy time. Everyone else got their food, but my order didn't get into the kitchen. Had a hard time getting a waiter's attention, and by the time I did everyone else was almost done. Then my burger was just OK and not quite how I had ordered it. I... More

Beer selection is awesome. We had stopped in for beer and then decided to try the sliders for lunch. Comes with 4 sliders and lemon aioli. Delicious and plenty to share for 2 people.

A very loud & crowded place, but it does add something. My husband is a IPA drinker and their selection of Beers is enormous. We were there twice during our stay in Durango and both times had appetizers for dinner. All were delicious. The bartenders (we always sit at the bar) were attentive and nice. We will return when next... More

The staff are always friendly and the selection for beer is great. Something for everyone and the atmosphere is fun and high energy. If you are ever in Durango, stop by Steamworks! I recommend the Lizard Head Red, or if it is in season, the Ginja Ninja.

Inside tends to be high energy but the west-facing deck is lower key. Nice place to kick back from the end of the day. As the sun goes down you'll either want to sit with your back to the west or ask the server to drop the outdoor shades a notch or two Great selection/range of food: from a Korean... More

We read the reviews and expected more. This is better thought as just an average brewery. The clam chowder had steamer clams not the normal clams you find in clam chowder. The fish and chips we ok but, appeared to just be bought frozen squares of breaded cod. The Wisconsin cheese curds we were the best. We went there because... More

We eat at the Steamworks more than anywhere else in Durango, Several times a year.. Consistently Great service and Great Food. We have never gotten a bad meal here. Try their burger on a ciabatta bun. The meat is always fresh and cooked just right.

Everything we had was fabulous, burgers, wings, and pizza. The kids mac and cheese was delicious too. The kids ordered the pizza, we are going back so we can get our own!!

Our son had recommended this place from a prior visit. It's a brew pub and restaurant and probably the best we've ever been in. It's full of customers and staff having a great time. In the evening be prepared for a wait. The prices are reasonable and the food and beer are great. My wife had their six cheese macaroni.... More

Although we only stopped in for a beer we found the service to be good and a great atmosphere. The place was packed, even the kids were having fun using chalk on the floor. It is family friendly and the menu looked very good. Our beers were huge at a very low cost and tasted very good

Steamworks Brewing Co. Opened its doors in Durango in September 1996. A favorite watering hole for locals and visitors alike, the brewpub has much more to offer than award-winning craft beer. Known as a town meeting place, Steamworks enjoys a bustling, fun environment. Steamworks' culinary program is unmatched in the region in both breadth and quality of offerings. The "gastropub" fare includes regionally-raised meats and sustainable seafood. Healthy salads, delicious pizzas, spicy Southwestern-style dishes, and vegetarian & gluten-free offerings provide something for everyone who's hungry. The Steam Engine Lager is "arguably the best American - Style Amber Lager in the world" as it has garnered four Gold Medals, a Silver and a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) over the years and also has taken a Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup (WBC). Steamworks has won a total of twelve GABF medals, and two WBC medals. The brewpub maintains up to 18 styles of beer on tap.
