Went for the micro brews and Cajun boil. Beers were good boil was good remember it being more food but add on were good they are trying to get as many people in and seated but need to have more room tried to sit us in a booth for 4 and add a chair at the end for our party... More
The food was good and the place was always busy. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. Peanuts shells littered the floor and kids are given chalk to draw on the floor as well. The homemade root beer was fantastic!
This is now our families favorite. The pizza is far better than Fired Up or anywhere else in town. Love all the food. There is a huge heated outdoors patio too. If you sit at the bar there are peanuts in the shell.
My family always makes at least one stop to Steamworks every time we're in Durango (3-4 times per year). In my experience, brewpubs do either food or beer really well. Steamworks manages to do both consistently. We've tried many different items on the menu and never been disappointed.
We stopped in town after taking a break from skiing. Staff sat us quickly. Overall a good experience. It can be difficult to find a descent place to eat in touristy towns. Steamworks was fine. We ordered burgers and Cajun chicken sandwiches they were above average. My daughter ordered the brisket French dip. I wish I had one of those... More
