Being a local in Durango, M is an indispensable attraction in our town. It is the only place where you can buy the New York Times on Sundays, year-round. The selection of magazines and newspapers is second to none. Foreign language print materials are limited. There are loads of greeting cards and since Hallmark folded its tents, M is without... We all scream for ice cream. Yummy selection of ice cream. I tried the salted caramel, my husband had the espresso. We went back every day we were there. They had giant cookies too, and other yummy looking goodies along with a selection of deli sandwiches.

Cute little place with decent coffee. I wouldn't mind stopping in here again next time I am in town.

Located right on Main Street and in the heart of the old downtown. If you're walking around and need a delicious smoothie or sandwich, stop here. My wife and I split a Panini and each had a smoothie. I also had the Bee Pollen and protein boost. Excellent lunch.

Magpies is great for when you need to pick up a paper, an impromptu gift, a meal, some gelato, or a pretty great cup of coffee. A great place on Main Ave!

This is a fun little newspaper, magazine, bumper stickers, refrigerator magnets, CD's and muffins/sweets. You can find that novelty item to take home to friends.

Stopped in for some coffee and muffins for breakfast. This was the perfect spot for watching the Cowboy Festival parade. The coffee was good and hot and the muffins were ok--a bit on the stale side, but good-sized. Stick with the coffee and you'll be satisfied.

It's a treat to browse their greeting cards. You won't find these at Hallmark. And then we get their gelato. My favorite is salted caramel and expresso and then we sit in their courtyard and people watch. Great fun.
