We were on a camping trip when we were surprised by a late season snow. I have been snowed on in July, so no big deal. We just did not feel like dealing with it. Packed up and drove to town. No idea where to go, so we asked. This guy we just stopped on the sidewall told us Oscar's.... More

Ate lunch here while in the area. This is a little café and more like a locals place. Place is decorated like a diner. The staff was very friendly. I had a cheeseburger and it was delicious. They also have a large assortment of pies for dessert. I would eat here again.

Great going here alone and reminds me of the east coast diners I frequented 50 years ago. Most menu items are pretty good and with their own twist. Most of my visits are for breakfast and they make a pretty good pancake. Wish they had some good home fries instead of those shredded hash browns that are drenched in oil.

Enjoyed this diner so much, we went back 2 out of the 3 days we were in Durango... And regretted not going on the third day. The staff was friendly and attentive, never saw the bottom of my coffee cup, most importantly, the food was delicious!

I went for lunch, looking for a good Green Pork Chile and I was very pleased. I was really hungry and ordered a side of fries and a fresh fruit salad. The fruit salad could easily be a lunch in itself which now I understand it was (I was thinking it would be a "Side". It was very fresh and... More

We were visiting friends in Durango and went to Oscar's! The food was great, and made the wait well worth it. The train circling the dining room and all the stuff to look at on the walls made it a real treat

Hash brown pancake with green chile and cheese topped with a couple of over-easy eggs and homemade hot sauce! Perfection!
