Just don't go there... First the dishes came completely different from the menu and when we asked the answer was that it was the same . My steak came very very cold for Two times. And it was as tasteless as my husband's fish. The waitress was the only good thing in this place. But still it is not a... More

Sorry you did not have the meal and experience you and I had hoped for. I take full blame for any poor service or food. Normally our food and the experience at Pug Ryan's is much better than what you endured. Thanks for the review. We always strive to do our best. Best wishes. More

I stopped by for dinner on a cool fall evening. Hotel I stayed at was in walking distance and recommended by hotel staff. Pugs seems like a popular place with locals. Ate on the patio and enjoyed the view along with good food. The oriental chicken salad was very filling and I took a brownie to go for later. Good... More

This place is good if you just want to get a drink on the deck or hang out in the bar for happy hour. Food is poor and not inexpensive.

Thanks fro reviewing Pug Ryan's. I noticed yo said the food was not up to your expectations. Normally our chefs do a great job, but obviously this was not the case for you. So you know, we have just introduced a new, revamped menu with over a dozen new items. I must admit some of our menu choices were a... More

Pug Ryan's was very good food with very good service. They have a variety of a menu with everything from pub food to expensive steaks. My son had the extra large prime rib, which was about $35, but a large piece of meat. Burgers start about $10.50. There are nightly specials.

Great microbrewery with Happy Hour DAILY, includes $3 brews and 25% off apps, not just a buck off like some. Burgers, Fish and Chips, and wings are best but they do have more upscales entrees as well. Big enough to have room to get seated and off the highway so not filled with skiers as fast.

We heard such great reviews about this place we had to try it and we were so glad we did! We actually went there a couple times in our week long stay in Dillon. The food and service was great along with friendly staff. The beers brewed there are very tasty and lots of choices.

We came here on our 30th anniversary and had a very good meal. My husband tried one of the local beers and said it was really good.

Enjoyed seared mahi-mahi from the game day menu and met a wonderful couple who offer help in recommending food. Choice of front outdoor deck or off the bar with an awesome view of the mountains. Well designed so a choice of rooms to eat in and the bar.

Had heard lots of good things about this place, and maybe I was guilty of over optimistic expectations. I think our biggest disappointment was when we went in at about 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon, was that we were informed that the entrees could not be ordered until 5:00. Having been told that their steaks were excellent, this was disappointing.... More

Thanks for reviewing Pug Ryan's. I am sorry you felt your visit was disappointing. I have taken your input and at our menu redesign and staff meeting this week we discussed offering most of our steak entrees upon request during the lunch hour when at all possible. I hope to have the opportunity to serve you again. Best wishes. More

We visited on a Tuesday evening when it was quite busy and requested a quieter table, and the hostess accomodated this. The server was very friendly and efficient. We both ordered fish and chips, which are excellent. The accompanying tartar sauce is great. Coleslaw is moist and flavorful. Many choices of beer, of course, since it's a pub. Quite a... More

Description
Pug Ryan's opened in 1975 making it the oldest steak house in Dillon. Travis and Annie Holton bought Pugs in 1986 and have owned and operated since. The brewery started in 1996 and poured its first beer February 1st 1997. In May 2012 the Pugs expansion was completed. Additional brewery space and equipment were added with a new deck, bathrooms, entrance and remodeled side dining room. Pug Ryan's lakeside Tiki Bar at the Lake Dillon Marina is open seasonally during the warm months of the summer. With the best view in Summit County on its deck and the light lake breeze to keep you cool while sipping on your Rumrunner, it's easy to see why the Tike Bar has drawn travelers from all over the world and has been enjoyed by locals for years.Pug Ryan's has a family feel with its staff. With a majority of the staff being long time friends you will see soon why it's hard to leave.
