I was visiting friends and staying in the downtown art district, and decided to stop in for dinner. Very friendly service upon entering, and we were seated immediately. I ordered the fried Red Chili Calamari, and it was the best calamari I've ever tasted. The...More

We happened upon this place after meandering around the Art District during the day. The host was nice enough to allow us to tour the dining room and make a reservation several hours before they were set to open. He made sure we had a...More

Love the fresh seafood selection. Well prepared and good variety. When this place is "on", its great, when they're "off", its pretty pedestrian. Sometimes the service is great, sometimes its hit or miss, but the seafood is usually very good. I do think they are...More

When they say the seafood is shipped in daily they mean it! Had the oysters could not be fresher, salmon was fantastic. It is expensive, but its a once in a while expense worth it .

My husband and I like to go to the Oceanaire before or after going to the theater at DCPA. The food is consistently good, although a bit pricey.
