Ten of us made reservations at Marlowe's for a celebratory dinner following a long volunteer work day. They set up a table upstairs in a quiet space for us and had one server take care of all our orders. I had the Caesar salad with anchovies that was delicious and a chili wagu steak main course. My martini was the... More

We were staying at the Sheraton, I'm looking for a place to eat close so we wandered into this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was good and the service was also good! Just what we needed for a quick dinner!!

We had a large group dining here and the food was good, the service excellent and the location perfect. It is on 16th Street so you can sit, drink and eat while watching everyone go by. Great location for everything and good place to stop.

After our convention activities, we stopped at Marlow's for dinner. Three of us were seated promptly and immediately received service. The appetizer menu was broad and we selected the crabbed stuffed mushrooms caps which was excellent. We could not agree on the calamari dish. For dinner two of us enjoyed a shrimp and vegetable jambalya like dish. It was simply... More

We had a group reservation on a Saturday night, with three birthdays to celebrate. Marlowe's was recommended by the hotel staff, and we were delighted. A short walk down 16th Street, and the place was full of fun atmosphere, yet not too noisy. The crispy brussel spouts were just enough for all of us to have a little start while... More

After failing to get a late reservation at any of the pricy steakhouses in Denver, we opted for Marlowe's in downtown. The atmosphere is warm, but because it's quite large, not exactly cozy. I can see where it would be a high energy bar scene on the weekends. We were there on a Thursday evening. They have a nice selection... More

Location and food were both excellent and even though it was restaurant week things were slow due to the temperature. Our food was excellent (Brussels Sprouts particularly recommended). Even though it was empty the table service seemed a little off compared to our previous visits, but still a place we will return.

I was here for dinner with two colleagues. Make sure you get the Brussels sprouts! I also had a pasta dish which was excellent. My colleagues enjoyed their meals as well. Service was good.

Description
Marlowe's echoes with the history and charm of Denver and the 16th Street Mall. Since opening our doors on the ground floor of the Historic Kittredge Building in 1982, Marlowe's witnessed downtown's steady growth from parking lots to skyscrapers. Our huge, imported sliding windows open to the 16th Street Mall and afford a wonderful opportunity for guests to watch downtown life glide past, while our hand-crafted Vermont cherry wood bars, vaulted ceilings and black-and-white tile floors are just a taste of our unique architectural style. Marlowe's serves lunch from 11am until 4pm every day of the week. We serve dinner from 4:30pm until 10pm Sunday-Thursday, and from 4:30pm until 11pm Friday and Saturday. You can join us for our delicious (and locally-sourced) brunch on Saturday and Sunday starting at 9am and going until 4pm. We have a late night menu, consisting of just our appetizers, every night for an hour after we stop serving our full menu. Marlowe's also has sizeable wine, cocktail and beer lists. We offer over 21 draughts, more than half from local breweries. Happy Hour is Monday-Friday from 3pm until 7pm and from 10pm until close. Since Marlowe's grand opening more than three decades ago, we have been one of Denver's most popular spots for lunch, after-work cocktails and dinner. We continue to be committed to our community and pride ourselves on being the oldest locally owned and operated restaurant on the 16th Street Mall. We place strong emphasis on locally sourced products and love being a staple of the Downtown Denver scene!
