So glad we snuck this place in at the last minute on our trip to Denver! We arrived at 5:30 on a Friday with no reservation and were told it would be a 30 - 40 minutes wait for 2. Luckily we snagged two seats...More

This place doesn't look like a Mexican restaurant. I don't need mariachi singers or that type of hype but décor is off for an authentic Mexican restaurant. People seem to love it though and food is average in my book.

From the house made chips and salsa to the chile rellenos and the fajitas, everything was cook so well and the flavors were amazing. Great margaritas an good atmosphere. A bit loud but a very hip place.

My brother and I went for dinner on a week night. Drinks arrived quickly, and we gave our food order of a starter and two entrees. The appetizer arrived 60 seconds later, and the entrees 60 seconds after that. I don't mind pre-made food if...More

Very busy but the service was attentive. Large marguerites and good beers. The food was authentic, and very tasty. The plates were hot and hence the food did not go cold quickly. I would recommend this popular restaurant.

The food here was great, starting with the chips! The Green Chile is super tasty and not overly hot. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We’ll be back!

i hadn't visited La Loma in several years and hoped they still served the same wonderfully prepared food in their new location. These days they're in a busy spot in downtown Denver but I found a spot at a meter almost across the street. Don't...More

La Loma was a pleasant surprise. The fresh juice margaritas and green chili sauce on the enchiladas were outstanding. The tamale was as good or better than the best restaurants in Mexico. Our waitress was very attentive. La Loma is a great find in Denver!

It's really quite close to their current location. Be aware that the restaurant will be moving to the downtown Denver area at the end of September. However their future plans are to open at a new site that's almost right... More

La Loma began as a family-owned Mexican restaurant in a small brick house just a block away from what became our landmark location for over thirty years, on 26th Ave in Denver. The hilltop restaurant with a view of downtown soon became a Denver staple. Sonny and William, along with Savina Mendoza, created a menu of Tex-Mex and Mexican favorites that showcased the flavors of the Southwest, featuring award-winning dishes like our renowned green chili, signature margaritas, and fresh tortillas, which are made on display in the dining room. Now, La Loma has moved to the heart of downtown across from the historic Brown Palace. We offer the same menu and many of the decorative touches our loyal guests have loved for decades including exposed brick with wooden accents, large, stained glass windows, and the photo of Savina Mendoza. La Loma’s goal is to make wonderful food accessible to all of Denver and beyond. The Brinkerhoff family strives to maintain simply great food.
