If you travel to Denver, you must stop at this Dinner to have breakfast, the food is great, and the service is outstanding. but make sure to be there early as the lines are long.. but totally worth it.

This is a basic diner, a little overpriced while serving basic breakfast food. It was a-ok, the portions were obscenely huge, but I doubt I would go back. I spent $22 on some eggs, ham and potatoes with coffee...just not worth it.

We saw a lovely ballet and decided to walk to Sam's No. 3 for a sweet treat. I was happy to get a single scoop sundae to my specs and the flavors were awesome. We ate ours as we walked to the car, and took in a brass band outside on such a sunny Denver afternoon.

What a great place. Good food and outstanding service. I have a hearty appetite and I almost couldn't finish the breakfast burrito.

Came here loved it. Came again. I had the souvlaki breakfast burrito: it was huge. Aye half. It's totally shareable. Also ate half a short stack of sweet cream pancakes. Amazing!! Can't wait to return

Solid meal, great service, classic "downtown diner" feel. This was like going back in time. Clean, efficient, basic. Great spot for breakfast.

The food here is always good. Lots of different options, particularly great for breakfast, but any meal is good here. I recommend it!

Rockies burrito! A burrito so big it has two crispy chili relleno's inside of it. I'm hooked and haven't had anything else on the menu since I first tried the Rockies burrito. It's the size of a baby, so come hungry!

We had a party of 8. We waited 20 minutes for our table at around 4:30 pm on Sunday. Busy restaurant. 3/8 ordered the french dip. It was perfect. Thinly shredded and torn prime rib with melted swiss, the au jus was delicious. 2 people ordeed the kitchen sink burrito, 2 ordered the veggie burrito, 1 grilled cheese. All of... More

Description
Sam’s No. 3™ was the third of five Coney Islands restaurants opened by Sam Armatas during the 1920′s. The original location was at 1527 Curtis Street in the heart of downtown Denver. On Sept. 28th, 1998, Sam’s son, Spero, with his grandsons Sam, Alex, and Patrick, re-established his most famous of the Coney Islands restaurants, Sam’s No. 3™. In honor of the age old tradition, they made a promise to each other to continue to provide excellent quality of food and embrace the inviting, warm atmosphere started by “Mr. Sam” more than 75 years ago!In April 2011, our little kitchen was featured on Food Networks "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". We were selected because so many local fans had written. A must-stop on any trip to Denver.
