The Delectable Egg is a multi unit operation and I generally do not review those. However, I really enjoyed my visit to the Egg on Market street. The Egg cooked my meal exactly as I had ask with crispy hash browns and bacon. The omelet was decent and the service was friendly. Not much more would you want for a very early breakfast in extremely cold weather. The coffee was also good and replenished as required at that hour. I also liked the upscale design of the restaurant with its exposed brick and hardwood floors. I would return next time I am in Denver for breakfast.

We happened to be walking around for breakfast place when we saw the delectable egg. The menu looked fantastic and they had outdoor seating. They have an extensive selection of eggs Benedict (bonus points!!) as well as several other types of breakfast. I got the California eggs Benedict (delicious) and my husband got a scrabble has type ( also delicious)

So this wasn’t the place we were looking for but we decided to give it a try since the kiddos were tired of walking to find breakfast. We did good! Service was great and food was good! The biscuits and gravy hit the spot, pancakes were good, and so were the hash brownS. Hash browns were a little undercooked but still good. Price is average. The cost was around $50 for 4 people (kids even split a meal). I would eat there again but didn’t blow me away. I do recommend if in the area!

This place had good reviews mostly. My husband and I ordered an omelet I expect when you eat a free Hotel breakfast to have the eggs be spongy and from a box but not in a little mom and pop place. I don't enjoy an omelette with processed eggs from a box my potatoes were over seasoned I couldn't eat them at all. $3.50 per cup of coffee this wasn't Starbucks!! not to mention I had to send my coffee cup back because there was lipstick on it from someone else. I would have thought maybe she would have gave me a coffee for free after that but she didn't. I also didn't care for the fact that the workers were wearing gloves. I get that were in the middle of a pandemic, but gloves spread more germs. they protect the workers hands, but they don't protect the glass that they're touching with their gloves, my plate. It just creeps me out gloves are germy. I wouldn't go back......

I read reviews on different sites, convinced myself that the bad service ones were just picky people and we went for Sunday breakfast. The place clearly has issues. They have basic organizational issues in getting tables cleared and coffee served in a timely manner. They make rookie errors by putting a bunch of cold salsa over a hot omelette. We asked for jalapenos in the omelette, and they literally folded raw peppers into the omelette after it was cooked. The potatoes were like warm. All in all, needs an overhaul, it has some potential. They have some very friendly staff I will say, so not all negative.

We waited about 45mins for a table (initially told it would be a 10-15min wait). Lots of empty tables (not due to Covid because we watched existing patrons get up and leave but the tables stayed empty for 15+ mins) The staff at the front was totally overwhelmed and unable to handle the crowds. The food was average - hashbrowns came out cold and my smoked salmon benedict barely had any salmon on it. The said empty tables remained empty while we were eating and were still empty when we left even though there was still a (smaller) crowd waiting to be seated. Def won’t recommend!

Can’t say enough about this breakfast place, where you’re made to feel like you’re in your family’s kitchen (just with a huge variety of items to choose from). Anwar, our server, was attentive and was able to accommodate our requests without a problem. Waffle combo and breakfast quesadilla were favorites! Made such an impression the first visit, we came back the very next morning. No wait when we visited on a Tuesday and Wednesday around 8:30am.

Due to covid the wait was a bit but worth it. The service was good, the food very good. The portions are large and can easily be shared with 2 adults. Great pancakes, eggs benedicts, good coffee. I would go back next time I am in denver

Great service, cozy atmosphere, but food was just ok. The Sicilian frittata was tasty as was the mimosa. But the savory crepes were disappointing. The cheese and chorizo were scant so mostly tasted the sweet-ish crepe.

The Delectable Egg will inevitably have a long waitlist but believe me it is worth the wait. The restaurant is so enjoyable that we visited it twice on weekend stay. If you are staying at one of the many downtown Denver hotels, The Delectable Egg is best breakfast spot for you. You can conveniently join the waitlist from your hotel room with an estimated arrival time to avoid waiting outside. My husband loved the Green Chili Chorizo Benedict sandwich so much he ordered it both days. I really enjoyed the variety by trying the California Benedict and then the Western Omelette on our second day. We will definitely be back to the Delectable Egg.

My wife and I enjoyed our breakfast outside on a sidewalk table. She had the Idaho skillet and I had the Denver omelet - both were hot, fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and efficient. The coffee was left on the table in a carafe so no waiting for refills. We would give this one a definite recommendation and we found the prices reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food.

We stayed in Denver after a trip to Arches and Copper Mountain. The service here is good and very friendly! We had a denver omelette, french toast, breakfast sandwich and eggs with bacon. All delicious! I requested well done bacon and it was cooked perfectly. They rye toast is thicker slices of bread, which is different and realllly good. The orange juice is good sized, good too share. Good portions - no need to plan a lunch later. Only complaint is bathrooms, you need a code to use but that is understandable.
Really enjoyed the good food and service!

Looking at the menu, I expected to really enjoy my meal. Unfortunately, it was just average. Breakfast isn’t a difficult meal, but my huevos rancheros was too greasy and just left my stomach feeling uneasy. Other family enjoyed their meals (crepes and pancakes); unlikely we will return.

Positives were it was open at breakfast time (8am) and the staff were great.
Huge menu which was full of massive sounding food.
I tried for damage limitation with eggs Benedict and salmon.
unfortunately a huge mound of food arrived with what looked like a gallon of cold custard on top. I suspect there were eggs in there somewhere but I didn’t look too hard. Had a couple of goes but concentrated on the pint of coffee and pint of juice that came with it.
Please please please! Big is not beautiful

This was our first meal in Denver and it did not disappoint. Although the restaurant was busy when we got there, we were quickly sat and our waiter came over with water/coffee right away. (They leave a carafe at your table, which I always love.) Menu was very diverse and had options for everyone. Enjoyed a frittata and the rooster meal and loved all of it. Food was very good, service was spectacular and the setting was fun. Definitely worth a stop here when in town.
