On our last trip to Denver, our son suggested this restaurant and all 4 of us had great meals! The food was authentic Cuban and the drinks were all delicious! We all tried something different, from sandwiches to meals to different sides and all were very good. Servers friendly and knew their menu. Busy, but everything kept moving. Would definitely... This restaurant in Denver's Golden Triangle, one-half mile from our downtown hotel, is small, quaint and cute. It's in an old house in a more or less residential area. The highlight of our meal was the tapas. We started with the Mariquitas Cubana and the avocado mash was delicious. The Empanadas de Picadillo had the right seasoning on the ground... More

We stayed in Glendale, CO (the Cherry Creak area of Denver) for one night and had the opportunity to eat a meal from Cuba Cuba. It was outstanding. The menu has a Cuban flare and we were not disappointed. It was simple fare but absolutely delicious. I had the Pan Con Lechon sandwich which is slow roasted pork, veggies and... More

Best I can say is just "OK". My Vaca Frita was kind of stringy and greasy. The Mojitos were way too tart and not sweet enough. Service was very pleasant and my friends enjoyed their meals, so maybe it's just me. Oh yeah, when we walked out onto the patio there was a really foul sewerish smell. I was embarrassed... More

A little out of the way, parking was easy, and Cuba Cuba was well worth the trip. Our appetizers and dinners were all excellent and the service was pleasant. Judging from the full room of diners, we were not the only ones enjoying our meals.

My wife had heard good things so she wanted to give this restaurant a try. We got there about 20 minutes before they opened as we had heard that a line forms and this was true the night we were there. We started with plantain chips and dips. Our entrees were Churrasco Con Papitas (garlic-parsley chimmichurri skirt steak, mojo fries... More

Two small houses+Cuban food=recipe for a great time. This restaurant is truly a local gem with 3 small separate areas in the restaurant with different energy. The bar is hot, crowded, loud and full of energy with the room next to it calm and soothing with white walls and billowing ceiling. Finally, the outdoor patio allows you to breathe the... More

As a long time resident of Miami (with many authentic Cuban restaurants, I consider myself a Cuban food afficionado. Cuba Cuba is right up there with the best of them.

In a cute old house with a sidewalk flanked with banana plants (how do they do this in Denver!?) we were seated immediately for what we thought would be a short bite and we were so intrigued by the menu and the ambiance we stayed for appetizer, mojitos, dinner and dessert all the time saying to ourselves "this is fun!... If you like Cuban cuisine then Cuba Cuba is the place for you. The simple dishes are well prepared and flavorfu typical Cuban fare. I had the Lechon asado, a slow roasted pork dish with moro rice and bean sauce. Naturally I did order plantains as well which were not as starchy and greasy as they can be at other... More
