I stopped at watercourse this morning and it didn’t disappoint! This is my second trip to this restaurant and my food was delicious. I brought a non vegan relative and she also enjoyed her seasonal French Toast I had the Big Rig that came with fried seitan, gravy, scrambled tofu, home fries and a biscuit. My niece had the Chorizo burrito and it was ginormous! My plate was delicious and I could not finish it all. Had to get a to go box to take the rest home. Their portions are generous so you will not leave hungry! I did not have room for dessert but I’m sure they are just as tasty as the rest of their food!

Came here for a vegan lunch (one of our family is vegan). Friday lunchtime was very busy here and we had to wait a short while for a table. Once seated, we were served efficiently and we had delicious lunch. We enjoyed both the bbq pulled jackfruit sandwich with fries and the two piece cauliflower chicken with fries and mixed green salad. Both menu items were really tasty and provided us with a very adequate lunch. Environmentally, I found the place rather noisy between the background music and loud chatting of customers, trying to complete with the music. Also, as this is a vegan restaurant, why call some of their meals after meat (e.g. the cauliflower chicken , why not just call is cauliflower?)?

We got takeout due to Covid restrictions and everything was delicious and packaged perfectly. The chicken fried cauliflower, mac and cheese, caeser salad, and pretzel with cheese were all incredibly flavorful. I can't wait to visit again.

I read so many great reviews about how awesome the food here was but I was deeply disappointed. I am a vegan chef and have eaten at so many vegan restaurants all over the world. The Caesar wrap we ordered was totally bland and the server never came back to ask how everything was. I asked for some extra caesar dressing for the wrap and was charged 50 cents on my bill! The mac and cheese was too coconuty for my liking and the cauliflower wings were okay. The restaurant is very pricey for what it is. The bathrooms were unisex and so were terribly filthy. Would never go back.

This was our first time to this restaurant. Our waitress was aware it was our first time in because she asked us that from the beginning. She was put off by the questions we asked about the menu and that we confirmed it was happy hour from 2-5:00 because she never told us that but we overheard the other waitress tell the table next to us it was. My boyfriend ordered a beer as she asked for our drink selections. As we continued to look at the menu he saw that there was a beer, sandwich and side special and asked to order that as a whole once she took our food order. The waitress made such a big deal about that because he didn't say he wanted his beer with the sandwich deal; yet he didn't know it existed at the time because we didn't look at the food yet and she certainly didn't suggest it. She said that she would have to change the ticket and was irritated by that. She suggested certain side sauces and unbeknownst to us, they charge extra for that which she didn't tell us. She suggested the fig jam for the smoked turkey and brie I ordered, yet I didn't know it was extra and I didn't use it because the sandwich didn't need it; it was great by itself. My boyfriend was charged for ranch as a side as well. We receive our check and she charged us wrong for his lunch that she became irritated over having to change it initially. We told her and of course she was even more irritated when she took the ticket and walked away. She doesn't come back with the ticket, but sends the female manager over who accuses my boyfriend of not telling the waitress that he wanted that changed to the meal until all the food was entered into the system and it would be too hard to change it now, so they don't go back and change those things. He informed her that he told her he wanted to make the change before we ordered our food so it was not, in fact, after we ordered everything. He told her that he asked her that and she said she would change it, but did appear irritated over it. The manager seemed surprised by her being irritated and said Carly is one of their best servers. Um, not today ma'am. I explained to her that this was our first time in and she didn't inform us of the happy hour, she didn't advise there were extra charges for the sauces which she recommended and I didn't ask for, she just seemed put out the whole time we were being waited on by her. My boyfriend commented that maybe she was having a bad day, but it was obvious she wasn't friendly. The manager then told us that she believed her server. It wasn't a matter of believing her. It was obvious the waitress forgot to make the change and then when the whole order was placed and it was time to pay for the bill, she realized she forgot to make the change to his order before all the food was put in because according to the manager "that would be so hard to change." I will say the food was great but I'd rather go to Native Foods where the staff is friendlier, the food is excellent, they have a large menu and it is all plant based as well.

First time here in ages. Parkng was difficult; plan ahead to leave extra time to find a spot. One in party was a vegan and others all flexibile eaters. Lots of food options, though some not available on our visit. Food looked nice. Faux turkey sandwich looked attractive and fairly tasty. Bit of an aftertaste I didn't recognize. Main issue was server seemed to be very disinterested in serving. She looked to be far more involved in talking to a fellow who was there and not seated at a table. Looked to be a friend, perhaps. Focus was just not at all on diners at our table, but very much on the man she semed to know and was talking with at length. Hopefully this was a one-off sort of thing. We like going to vegan or vegetarian places a lot, but not likley to return due to service issue more than food. They had some kind of mandatory tip, which we didn't like, but did not dispute. It was sort of overpriced, honestly for what you got.

Excellent menu, very friendly staff, warm atmosphere. Been to Watercourse about 5 times and have yet to come away dissatisfied with the dining experience, and the check is always less than I expect. Even my carnivorous co-workers thoroughly enjoy this place. Must tries are: Cauliflower Buffalo Wings, the Cuban, White Cheddar Mac, Mac 'N' Cheese, the Classic Burger, and the Carbonara (although to be fair that list is about the gist of everything myself and/or my accompaniment have tried- I'm sure everything on the menu is the gold standard of Vegan eating-out). FYI if you're looking to win over your carnivorous company I'd start with the Cuban for sure. Oh and for the tipplers the Rose' Blossom Bubbler is a nice touch, and for dessert I'd go with the Ice Cream Sundae!

As a visitor to Denver, I pre-researched vegan restaurants to visit and WaterCourse was a top recommendation. So, they make their own vegan cheeses. I had the grilled fontina cheese sandwich with mushroom pesto and it was *amazing*! Stretchy and ooey-gooey! My friends had the "chorizo" burrito and the kale salad and we shared the buffalo cauliflower (hello, awesome ranch dressing). Everything satisfied all of our cravings. Plus the Bloody Mary was delsih! Can't wait to visit again!

Saying the food here is incredible would be an understatement… without a doubt a true dining experience. Whoever gave this place anything less than a 4/5 (which is still low in my opinion), was probably looking for a steak on the menu. Aside from the food being great, the staff was just a good. My server, Sonny, was friendly and very helpful when going over the menu (ended up getting the sage gnocchi and the sesame crusted tofu). Hats off to this place, I will definitely be back!

My wife Ann is a vegetarian and has been for more than 50 years. We always struggle to find a good place to eat where she has a decent number of dishes from which to choose. Watercourse is the best place for veggies we have found.

I have eaten here three times now (twice for dinner and once for brunch). I have never been disappointed. Last time we visited, they had an updated menu with many new options. The food is entirely vegan, but you would never know it by the menu. The sandwich options read like any deli menu. It was so old-school deli that I double-checked with the staff to make sure all the options were vegan, haha. The food was excellent. We ordered two different types of chicken sandwiches (the roasted chicken and the fried chicken) and the "chicken" in the sandwiches was completely distinct. A downfall of many a vegan restaurant is that they serve the same substitute protein in every dish (and you can tell). Here, everything tastes homemade and fresh. My partner (who is not vegan/vegetarian) really enjoyed it too. The staff was friendly and helpful and there were options for outdoor seating. Had a great IPA on tap as well.

We ordered carry out on a Saturday evening. The food did not disappoint. We were in town visiting our niece who is vegan. My husband is a meat eater and he had the smoked "turkey" sandwich and loved it. Large portions and everyone enjoyed their meal

Went to Denver for a week and had to try out as many vegan restaurants as possible. This place is 100% vegan. I am (almost completely) vegan but my spouse is not and we both really enjoyed our food. He even cleaned his plate, a very rare occurrence. Everything we had was incredible. We started by sharing the full sized caesar salad - really nice mix of greens. Just the right amount of kale to add to the flavor but not be overpowering. He ordered the brown butter sage gnocchi. The sweet potato puree provided a nice sweet flavor to the meal. It also helped to lighten the meal as a whole since gnocchi is usually a little heavy. I had the sweet potato and carrot arancini. I didn't actually know what arancini was but thanks to the advice of our server I can say I definitely made the right choice. I am a fan of falafel and this meal seemed like a sweeter version of a falafel salad. Not too much though. Then, he tried the peanut butter chocolate milkshake with a shot of peanut butter screwball whiskey and...well, I don't usually like adding alcohol flavors to food but this was really good. The atmosphere was nice, lively but not too loud and very cozy. Our server (I feel awful for forgetting his name because he was truly wonderful) was outstanding. Friendly, timely and helpful when we needed suggestions. I cannot wait to go back. Our meal was a little pricey but that's partially due to the fact that we also had two drinks each. We figured we would splurge for this one and did not regret it. The drinks were crafted very well. I would recommend for vegans and non vegans alike. Show your carnivorous friends what a delicious vegan meal tastes like if they are open to trying something new!

Incredible food and drinks! Try the lavender mimosa. The cauliflower wings are amazing not greasy and great dips. Had the leek potato frittata so good. The chicken and waffle made with cauliflower in cornmeal but tastes so amazing! Highly recommend you try it!

Our server, Carly, was wonderful! It was the first time here for 3 of our party and she helped us navigate the menu! We ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese, the Risotto, the Kale Salad, the Cuban, and the Gnocchi. Everything was yummy but save room for dessert. Order your HoHo with your meal or it will be gone before it’s time for dessert. The Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake was too much shortcake and not enough cheesecake so was a bit dry. The best dessert is the milkshake. Any flavor is great and don’t forget the whipped cream!
