Since my daughter was 4 years-old we've been celebrating her birthday here with 3 generations of women in our family. She is now 16 and we've never missed a year! It seems expensive but you get an amazing amount of food so in actuality it is not. The more important thing is the quality is outstanding! Even the tea tastes... More

My husband and I enjoyed high tea recently at the Brown Palace in downtown Denver. Our reservation was at 2 pm, and we were seated promptly at a table for two not far from the piano. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience -- good selection of teas, yummy small bites to eat, great service, and best of all -- a... More

We loved our anniversary afternoon tea! Was intimate, even though in a larger setting. We did have very slow service and had to hunt for our waitress to get more hot water for our teas andboth the leftovers she had taken to box up and our check. Other than that it was a nice, relaxing experience with excellent food. Great,... More

During my stay at the Brown Palace, I had to experience the afternoon tea service. The service was amazing, I felt the surrounding history just imaging how people behaved socially back in the day. The champagne tea service was an added bonus it mixed historical tea service with modern day taste. I preferred the savory dish more then the sweet... More

We have been visiting here for almost 20 years now. The setting is stunning, the service is top notch and the food is delicious! I have had tea in many locations all over the world and this is by far my favorite place. Their scones are delicious and not dry which is hard to accomplish. They always have a live... More

I was disappointed by this tea. I've been to high tea many times at other tea rooms. I expected, at $40 per person, to have superb service but that didn't happen. We were seated at a small round table kind of in the aisle. The table was already set and the old China was pretty. I didn't mind being in... More

We were seated at 3:05 PM for our 2:30 reservation. We were at temporary tables set up to the side. Service was slow which we did not understand as they know how many people they have to serve as it was fully booked with reservations. The tea and accompanying food was excellent but over all it was disappointing after all... More

It is such a nice room to have a cocktail and enjoy the piano player, especially if it is John Kite. They have a rule now, only high tea with reservations until 4:00. Disappointed to be turned away.

A must-do when in Denver! One of our all time favorite family/friends event. This is a great meal- finger sandwiches, scones, petit fors, and the ambiance amazing. A great glimpse of simpler times.

Yes, the Atrium Lobby at the Brown Palace serves high tea from 12 noon - 4 pm...BUT, to enjoy a fantastic Manhattan in this lobby with superb service and the piano playing is awesome. People watching here is quite entertaining too. First-class!
