As I walk around the Northfield Center, I had notice this place was closed. It was actually sad, as I had wanted to give it a shot and taste Denver BBQ

This location got better reviews on TA than the one closer to us so we opted to try it. Everything was tasty, even the Arnold Palmers, which were well made. I had the brisket and my husband did a two meat combo with brisket and...pulled pork. We both had salads and onion rings for our sides and they were decent as well. The onion rings were spicy with what tasted like cayenne, which we both could have done without. Good service from Nicole, who was friendly and took good care of us. A decent choice for a chain BBQ meal.More
You will sit in the drive through for 20 minutes with only one car ahead of you. Manager lies and says we asked the car to pull ahead and wait but they refused to. I sat here and watched they never even opened the window...to ask the guy. The manager is a liar and rude!More
Semhal our waitress was awesome, so was the Manager on duty for that evening. I thought the full rack of ribs were amazing, and the baked beans are incredible and I love the colorad greens. I WOULD recommend this place for sure.
The brisket had a good smoked flavor and a nice bark. The ribs were also smoky and flavorful. The baked beans were tasty and the iced tea was great. Only negative to visit was a piece of chocolate pie that was frozen, but the waiter...comped the pie. Also the waiter was pleasant, informative, and efficient. Very good Service.More
I met some Aussie counterparts here for dinner and was very impressed. Being born and raised in Texas I am very picky on BBQ. I would definitely eat here again.
Omg when we visit our daughter in Colorado we have to go to Jim and Nick’s for awesome BBQ! We have never had a bad meal and always walk away stuffed! I would recommend anything on the menu, you cannot go wrong! The peach tea...is to die for too! Big chunks of peach in the tea!More
Food was very good but the service was a little slow. Waiter never offered refills and bread was served with our sandwiches.More

Had an early dinner here with the family and the food was top notch. We had an assortment of BBQ favs and all of them were really good. The service was quick and our hostess was very helpful. I would absolutely go again.
We had a quick lunch here. Service was good as was the food. There were quite a lot of options! We would go back again.
My husband and I LOVED the food here. We both had the brisket sandwich- yummy! The original sauce was just right - not sweet with just a little bite. I loved the Mac and cheese; very creamy, which is rare. And the chocolate pie is...to die for!! Wish we had one in SoCal!More
I had lunch here by myself the other day. Like many restaurants in the area, this place suffers from over supply. My meal Beef Brisket on Toast was good, but no better than most other restaurants. Paying $8 for a Tito’s on the rocks was...a bit steep though. Good for the area, but it feels like a a chain restaurant not a genuine ”BBQ joint” in my opinion.More
Dinner on a Wednesday night, not at all crowded. Server immediately came to the table after we were seated and offered to start us off with drinks. We had our one-year-old with us and also requested some bread asap as he was ready to eat....The cornbread came out pretty quickly but was surprisingly not warm. He liked it anyway. For dinner we ordered the baby back ribs (with fries and fruit), the pulled pork plate (with cole slaw and baked beans) and the fried catfish plate (with potato salad and collards). All of the sides were very good, especially the cole slaw. The baby backs were meaty and tender. The fried catfish had a nice cornmeal batter and was very tender. The pulled pork was cold. After pointing this out to our server, he immediately apologized and said he’d have a new plate out asap. He did, and the pulled pork was the correct temperature. It tasted a bit smoky and had a nice pork flavor. The Carolina bbq sauce was vinegary and spicy, which is just the way we like it. The manager came by a few minutes after the new plate was delivered just to make sure it was OK. Shows a commitment to customer satisfaction, which we appreciated.More
I really wanted to like this restaurant, but the Carolina style BBQ fell short. I’m from the Carolinas and the BBQ that was served here was not it. It was extremely vinegary and hard to take. I only ate a small bit of it. The...sides were very good and the cheesy biscuits were awesome. I can’t comment on the other styles of BBQ, but my rating was only based on the Carolina style. The waitress was very friendly.More
Service was okay. Smoked turkey was awesome. Beef brisket, pulled pork was not so good. BBQ ribs had to be chewed off the bone. Overpriced for quality of food received.
