Generous portions and great Italian food. Try the lasagne - the sausage in it is delightful. The wine list was adequate and they also provided some interesting beer choices. Fairly reasonable in terms of price as well.

We were just here this weekend. Both the Midland Depot and the Red Rooster Bar were both open for lunch and dinner. They have just started their summer season full service, so maybe that is why the previous reviewer may have thought they were closed....More

Restaurant is located in an old hotel. Lots of history for ambiance, the food is better than average Italian, and you can tell it's made with quality ingredients. The restaurant was not overcrowded, the noise level was good and they take reservations. Excellent value and...More

The service was very attentive, but the ambiance and food were only average. The prices are pretty inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

The Midland Depot located in the Historic Imperial Hotel, brings more than 100 years of history, renovated so everything is brand new in the kitchen - yet the experience in the restaurant brings back memories of days gone by.
