This is a French Bistro and is absolutely divine!! We had early reservations and were so glad as it became quite busy as the evening progressed, and we had a table by the windows which was perfect. There was also an Army formal going on in a back room, and it was unique to see all the dress uniforms and... More

I selected this restaurant for our last night at The Broadmoor because it had a wine turret behind the bar! They had plenty of wine selections from their turret, too. A little pricey, but well worth it. And I usually don't get pasta when I eat at nice restaurants, especially since The Summit had some good chicken and beef options,... More

The food and service were impeccable, although the beef cheeks were incredibly rich and the creamy potatoes served with them did nothing to help cut the richness. Expensive wine list. Overall - highly recommended!

Went to the summit with the one who must be obeyed for a free mixology class given at the Summit. Had the great pleasure of having the Mgr. Mr. Gregg Shields be our teacher. We learned the secrets of a great cosmopolitan and a priceless old fashion. We had some appetizer and our overall experience was as pleasurable as i... More

We had an excellent Saturday evening meal at The Summit. The food was the best we had while staying at The Broadmoor, and the staff we friendly, helpful, and courteous. We had been to The Summit on an early trip and were only able to get into the lounge - this time we made sure to get a reservation. The... More

A wonderful sublime restaurant on the grounds of the Broadmoor. It's a modernized French Bistro but it's really much more and quite refined. A bit more dressy than the more informal choices on the Broadmoor campus. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and the wine list is superb if expensive.

There food was good... Should have been a lot better for the price. Their pepper steak at too much pepper. The Famous is a better choice.

Of all the restaurants we ate at in The Broadmoor, Summit was the most memorable. It is beautifully designed and has a wonderful French cuisine. Superb!

Some of the food was very average and the soup was not eatable because is was very thin and watery. The food was ok but average compared to some of the other restaurants at the resort.

We celebrated my wife's birthday a few days late. We chose a nice restaurant in Colorado Springs. It turned out to be a fantastic experience. We split escargot as an appetizer. She had the Angry Trout (I didn't realize you could make those fish unhappy). It is called the Angry Trout because they put the fishes mouth in the tail.... More

Description
A French Bistro, Summit marries French tradition with American originality. Summit's stellar menu of year-round favorites includes House Made Charcuterie, Potato Crusted Swordfish, Wagyu Beef Burger, Moules Mariniere and Hanger Steak. The ever-evolving seasonal selections find strength in a vibrant network of top-shelf vendors that provide the kitchen with the highest quality ingredients and local produce available. An extensive bar highlights local microbrews, cocktails and wines from the finest regions of the world, adding to Summit's unique assortment. Designed by acclaimed architect Adam D. Tihany, Summit's contemporary design is inspired by the grandeur of Pike's Peak and provides a stunning counterpoint to the classic elegance of The Broadmoor. Wood, metal, glass, leather and fabrics are used throughout the dining room to evoke a modern, yet natural feel suited perfectly to Summit's American brasserie menu and eclectic wine and cocktail program. Summit has been named one of America's 10 Best Hotel Restaurants by Frommer's and was previously honored in the Robb Report "Best of the Best", and Esquire's "Best New Restaurants" and "Best New Restaurant Design.
