This restaurant has a strange take on French cuisine. It is definitely more American than French. How can you claim to be french without serving Bouillabaisse or le'roucheite coued'ue? None of the waiters spoke french or pronounced any of the dishes correctly. The male waiter...More

This was our last night on a spectacular 4 day luxury, family time together and a most fitting one at that. The food was incredible and the choices made it really difficult to decide -- though three of us ended up with a rack of...More

The Summit was the only place to eat that was decent at the Broadmoor before. Now after changing Chefs and changing the menu, 3 out of 4 of us hated the food. It was bland and blah and I would rather eat at the pool...More

We were a group of 6 people having a birthday dinner at 'The Summit' restaurant during our first evening in Colorado Springs. Very nice decor of the restaurant. Food was very good and the wine list great although a bit at the high end price...More

In the week our group spent at the Broadmoor, the Summit was one of everyone's top picks. Beef, fish and chef's special were flavorful and fresh. Appreciated having vegetarian options. Wine selection terrific and beautifully displayed. Decor chic and more contemporary than traditional of resort...More

Everything was over the top. The design of the restaurant with all the windows was open and inviting. Great wine selection, wonderful selection on the menu, then finished off with a fantastic desert. The staff was well informed and not intrusive

My husband and I went all out for our anniversary dinner - appetizer, chef's special, a bottle of wine, dessert, coffee. Everything - the greeting from the hostess, service, food, atmosphere - was excellent. A night to remember for sure, and maybe an annual tradition...More

The staff is great, and helpful. The dining area is spacious and well designed. However the menu is good, but really lacks that special exciting/stimulating set of dishes which might be new in concept and perfectly challenging. Just a little edge would make this restaurant...More

We had several hor douvres, bottles of wine many different entrees, and all were excellent. Service is maybe a bit slow, but this is upscale, and it is meant to be an experience. Enjoy!

I made the mistake of ordering the chef's tasting menu with wines at The Summit dining room. The sommelier told me she had gotten permission to open some "very expensive" bottles of Spanish wine to see if they had gone bad. She served the wine...More

Description
A French Bistro, Summit marries French tradition with American originality. Summit's stellar menu of year-round favorites includes House Made Charcuterie, Potato Crusted Swordfish, Wagyu Beef Burger, Moules Mariniere and Hanger Steak. The ever-evolving seasonal selections find strength in a vibrant network of top-shelf vendors that provide the kitchen with the highest quality ingredients and local produce available. An extensive bar highlights local microbrews, cocktails and wines from the finest regions of the world, adding to Summit's unique assortment. Designed by acclaimed architect Adam D. Tihany, Summit's contemporary design is inspired by the grandeur of Pike's Peak and provides a stunning counterpoint to the classic elegance of The Broadmoor. Wood, metal, glass, leather and fabrics are used throughout the dining room to evoke a modern, yet natural feel suited perfectly to Summit's American brasserie menu and eclectic wine and cocktail program. Summit has been named one of America's 10 Best Hotel Restaurants by Frommer's and was previously honored in the Robb Report "Best of the Best", and Esquire's "Best New Restaurants" and "Best New Restaurant Design.
