This place is quaint and charming. Very small. A few outdoor seats next to the creek, which is an absolutely stunning place to have food or drinks. Inside, there's one room for seating. Cute decor and fireplace. Great quality food. A bar for wine tasting...More

We went at noon time on Sunday. Restaurant was pretty busy but had no problem with service and getting drinks and food quickly. Free sampling of wine enables to pick out a bottle quickly. We had buffalo burger and chicken sandwich out on the deck...More

We made reservations for a six person party on a Saturday evening. We were seated in a nook off the main dining room and ready to celebrate. The food was good and the waiter was able to suggest good drink pairings. Unfortunately, it took forever...More

The staff is friendly, service was prompt, that mixed with a nice selection of food, wine and creekside seating, where better to enjoy the views we have here!

Three of us had lunch at The Wines recently, and we ended up at the premier table farthest toward the north with the restaurant towering over us on one side and babbling Fountain Creek running passed us on the other. It is always a treat...More

I had trout, he had the small portion of ribs. Everything was exceptionally wonderful. Did the wine tasting first (we like dry red) and selected the Abbey Cabernet. Rustic decor creekside. Small and charming. Don't miss the trout.

Description
Nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak in Cascade, Colorado, The Wines of Colorado is an unheralded, romantic oasis and an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Colorado Springs. True to its name, the restaurant, tasting room, retail wine sales and gift shop, all do a brisk sip-and-sup business, but while oenophiles can be found sniffing their way around the tasting room, epicureans retire to the wood planked deck or Creekside dining area to feast on towering sandwiches and burgers, including the very popular buffalo wine burger, a juice-dribbling, hand formed patty sky scraped with grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, and roasted green chilis. Dine in the shade of the willows and pines next to Fountain Creek or on our sunny deck overlooking the creek. Combined with great food and wine, this is the Colorado experience you have been looking for. Shielded from the sun by wispy willow trees and aromatic pines along the creek, The Wines of Colorado is the perfect place to enjoy your getaway.
