Booked this on a recommendation and must say the service and food was excellent, they also allow dogs which for us is a win/win. Only moan would be the menu is a bit small otherwise no complaints what so ever.

Visited the pub for lunch today having not eaten here for many months. The lunch was extremely good and was nicely served and piping hot! Good service even though the pub was very full and busy outside too. We will definitely return for lunch again!

After visiting here several times over the years I thought popping up here for a late lunch would be a safe bet. Unfortunately that was not the case. Upon welcome we were seated after 5-10 minutes which was a long time seeing as it wasn't...More

Not a great Good Friday at the Cricketers. Poor service, indifferent bar staff and only one of five ales actually working. Not good enough for a country pub.

We popped in for lunch today, the pub and the village are lovely and we've been frequent visitors to another pub in the village for years and quite honestly we should have stuck to our usual. We ordered food after about 5 mins we were...More

Description
The Cricketers overlooks the green in the heart of Sarratt village - a great place to sit on a sunny day watching the world roll by, enjoying a pint or two with friends.
Inside is a jumble of cosy and comfortable rooms where you'll find some decent ales, a carefully chosen wine list, and a simple but tasty menu with fresh ingredients sourced locally wherever possible.
