If you're in Boulder and looking for someplace to eat breakfast, look no further. The line out the door should tell you something! Turn over is pretty quick so the wait's not long. Coffee hits the table fast and keeps coming. My wife got two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast; I had the biscuits and gravy with a side... More

In a city full of shiny street mall chains, where even the non-chain restaurants look like chains, this is the real thing. An short order institution with excellent cooks, wait staff, and hosts. Great basic diner food. Go.

This is the little diner every town needs. Fast, cheap, friendly and above all-delicious. Everything I've ever had here has been very good, from the traditional breakfast plates (get a side of their great green chile and dump it all over your plate) to the huge pancakes (try the blueberry), and even the simple diner-food lunch specials. Just good down-home... More

Was here on a college visit and found this place on tripadvisor. It's not right in the main shopping area, but not in a bad area either. Crowded enough to confirm that ratings. Waitress was excellent and kept us from ordering too much, which we appreciated. Omelet was perfect, pancakes were great, hashbrowns were perfect. Overall, food came quickly, correctly,... More

Shanna the owner is so nice and passionate about the village. This is one of my best diner meals ever. Don't forget to ask about the man "cake", pancake stuffed with meat

a small authentic place with history and run by a family. Pancakes are big and delicious. My family members from Germany were happy to get an authentic american breakfast

I visited Village coffee shop for the first time two weeks ago. What a delightful surprise. As you enter, you see what id refer to as an aclectic crowd. There's an old fashion counter you can sit at as well as tables and booths. My friend told me there's normally a wait for breakfast. We lucked out going at 9:45... More

So... I'm a big dan of diners. And this is just about the best I've found out here in Colorado. Great setting, awesome owners, stellar food. Its one of the few places I've found that'll dish up a mean plate of spam and eggs. I mean this in the most positive way possible... best greasy spoon in Colorado. There's always... More

All you need is to see the hashbrowns on the griddle. Huge mounds of golden brown potatoes. Pancakes full of fresh blueberries. Eggs cooked to perfection. Line is out the door, be patient.
