Was here on a college visit and found this place on tripadvisor. It's not right in the main shopping area, but not in a bad area either. Crowded enough to confirm that ratings. Waitress was excellent and kept us from ordering too much, which we appreciated. Omelet was perfect, pancakes were great, hashbrowns were perfect. Overall, food came quickly, correctly,... More

Shanna the owner is so nice and passionate about the village. This is one of my best diner meals ever. Don't forget to ask about the man "cake", pancake stuffed with meat

a small authentic place with history and run by a family. Pancakes are big and delicious. My family members from Germany were happy to get an authentic american breakfast

I visited Village coffee shop for the first time two weeks ago. What a delightful surprise. As you enter, you see what id refer to as an aclectic crowd. There's an old fashion counter you can sit at as well as tables and booths. My friend told me there's normally a wait for breakfast. We lucked out going at 9:45... More

So... I'm a big dan of diners. And this is just about the best I've found out here in Colorado. Great setting, awesome owners, stellar food. Its one of the few places I've found that'll dish up a mean plate of spam and eggs. I mean this in the most positive way possible... best greasy spoon in Colorado. There's always... More

All you need is to see the hashbrowns on the griddle. Huge mounds of golden brown potatoes. Pancakes full of fresh blueberries. Eggs cooked to perfection. Line is out the door, be patient.

Cramped close quarters offer a certain level of intimacy, but all of that is forgotten once you sit down (until you get back up). The service was friendly and fast, the coffee was strong, the eggs and bacon were greasy, and the fried chicken sandwich was ordinary. However, it was DELICIOUS! Loved the straightforward menu and the reasonable prices. Two... More

Good down to earth breakfast. I've been going here since 1992. The pace hasn't changed. Get the egg burrito. Don't forget to tell them this is your first time there so they can explain everything. You will not get fru-fru coffee here, its black, cream or decaf.

We chose this place after reading reviews on here! We were not prepared for the "smallness" of the restaurant however. We got very lucky, and walked in as a table was leaving, so we snagged the only booth available and had no wait! It's loud, crowded and TINY, but the food was good! My kids both said "these are the... More
