I'm between one and two stars. The food was not very good, but it wasn't awful and people I was with seemed to like theirs better than I did. I'd give two- or even three stars for the cuisine alone, as I don't often give nor do I like to give poor reviews or ratings. The beers (1123 IPA) was... More

We were not expecting this to be as good as some of the other places we ate, but we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Picky kids had clean plates, and we all enjoyed our meals and drinks (even those of us not drinking beer). The service was excellent and the ambiance was nice. It was a good place for a... More

I first came to the Walnut Brewery when I was in school. Terrific atmosphere that hasn't changed. The nachos are really good. I haven't had anything else on the menu in many years, as the nachos always win out. They are that good! Nice draft selection. Never pass through Boulder without stopping here!

We stopped in here for a quick bite and beer after shopping. It did the job but I wasn't a big fan of the overdone brewery ambience (see: giant signs advertising each brew) but the beer and the food (Caesar salad, Cuban sandwich, and the seasonal wheat) did the job. They also had pretty quick service.

But the food was average ! Loved the vibe & had several different brews but the snacks we ordered were bland ? The coasters state that they have been going for 25 + years, so they are doing something right ? This place has Gold Medal Winning Beers ! Next visit , I'll stick to the brews, they were Great... Have been going to Walnut Brewery pretty regularly when in Boulder for the past 30 years or so. The on-tap beers are great, but I think that the food has slipped a bit in quality while increasing in price over the last couple of years. I would have to say that the food is pricey and average in quality.

We were here for dinner and choose to eat in the bar, since we wanted to enjoy drinks for a while first. We waited quite a while after ordering our first drink before it came, but then it had to be 30 minutes before our waitress checked back. At that time we ordered a second drink and then waited again.... More

Eight here on a Wednesday afternoon with four people. Both couples split an entrée and added a cup of soup. House beer cheese soup was fantastic and the entrées were big enough to split. Beers were excellent and everybody enjoyed something different. Lots of house specialties to choose from. The martinis were to die for. Service was average even though... More

Great service, great food, and lot's of beer choices! What more can I say? Place is large and the noise level is medium-loud. Not a place to bring your hard-of-hearing grandfather. But its a fun place! Parking on street or in parking ramp across street. Right off of Pearl Street Mall and so take a stroll after dinner. We will... More

Tonight we stopped in for an early dinner after a nearby hiking trip. My husband and son ordered the salmon fish & chips which is my husband's favorite dish, so he recommended it to our son. Our granddaughter had a cheese pizza, which we had to wait for, because they burnt the first one. I ordered the chicken fried chicken... More
