This is the second time I have eaten here. Overall good experience. Food is excellent. I would have rated it a four star, but the main entrees arrived before we were finished with the appetizer and before we had a chance to order a bottle of wine. And it took about 10 minutes to get our wine once we ordered... More

Just tried Lure. Wow this place is fantastic. Ordered the Halibut, fresh , and cooked to perfection. The side of cilantro corn salad was very good and unique. Had the red calm chowder and artichoke. All were superior. This will now be my go to place for fish. Beautiful building inside, looks brand new. Large dining area and bar with... More

This is my favorite place for fish even though I don't normally eat seafood. I usually get the wild Alaskan Halibut which is cooked to perfection. Great service and very reasonable prices. The Westlake location is much better than the one in Camarillo. At least the chef is much better.

Last Friday, on March 24th,, there was a misunderstanding at Lure that I’m having trouble forgiving. I did not realize what created the problem until the next day when I looked at my tab. I was so upset at the time that I just paid my tab and left. Turns out the person I ordered from didn’t put in my... More

First there was the Camarillo location, then the location in Westlake was open and apparently is quite successful. I've never had bad food at either location, neither have I had anything stellar. The Westlake location is a ZOO at dinner / cocktail time. With so many other choices, it just isn't worth fighting a crowd and dealing with all the... More

I had dinner here with a group of friends. The grilled scallops (which is off the menu) were very good, although quite expensive. The pineapple coleslaw was delicious. The organic brown rice was so dry I couldn't eat it. I ordered the sautéed spinach and it was tasteless and I couldn't eat that side dish either. I am not sure... More

Love the food and fun atmosphere Our only problem is that with the acoustics and my husband wearing hearing aids, it is difficult for him. Went with girlfriends for lunch and sat near the windows at lunch and not as loud- Love the food!

We were visiting my sister in Shernan Oaks and she suggested Lure for dinner. The place was packed at 5:00 pm on a Friday night. We were lucky and got a nice booth for the 5 of us. We had great service and the food was absolutely delicious. Our entrees included spicy seafood pasta, clam chowder and fried shrimp with... More

A great hors d'oeuvre followed by a great meal! The BBQ Oysters were terrific. I usually don't care for oysters, but no fishy test here. Just yummy, buttery, garlicky goodness! And a great selection of local beers - all at a very reasonable price. This is a cant' miss.
