After striking out trying to get a table at two other restaurants, I thought I'd give La Boheme a try after spotting it across the street. The venue offers a number of seating options, from the general bar area to sidewalk-side tables and a more formal dining area. Staff weren't as observant as one would hope at first - it... More

La Boheme has a truly beautiful and unusual ambiance, particularly because the weather allowed us to dine in the patio. Our server, Jesse, was outstanding as was the bartender, Joe. The food was great. I had the La Boheme Burger which is a 1/2 lb burger with a fried egg and bacon jam. If you haven't had bacon jam, give... More

I found this restaurant by chance while stopping in LA and decided to eat in the early evening. Although a bit above my budget I thought that the food was excellent and good value

We usually end up at La Boheme because some of our friends like to eat there. It's an enchanting place for dinner or cocktails. If you value this, I suppose it's worth the price. However, the entrees are as infinitesimal as they are pretty. After a $50 meal at La Boheme, we inevitably find ourselves asking ourselves, "Okay, now where... More

La Boheme is a great date restaurant. A lovely, relaxed setting offering both interior dining beneath a soaring chandeliered ceiling and an exterior fireplace garden, the restaurant offers a relaxing change of pace from West Hollywood madness just outside its doors. Italian is the specialty here, and the prix-fixe menu offers the most affordable sample of tastes, ranging from crispy... More

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon during a West Hollywood Pub Crawl. Absolutely delicious crafted drinks, over-the-top friendly service AND $1 oysters that were fresh and perfect (though I would've liked a Mignonette rather than Cocktail Sauce). We'll be back!!! And we'll do a full dinner. By the way....really fun old-world atmosphere. Kinda felt like the set of Moulin Rouge!

I had my last night on Friday 13th in LA in the La Boheme after an excellent day in Santa Barbara. Caught the Kitchen bout 20 minutes before closing time and had an excellent steak and californian red wine at the Bar. Taylor and Kayla were excellent hosts there. I wish them both well in their acting careers. Taylor resembles... More

Not only is this restaurant breathtakingly stunning, with its red interior, grand fireplace and massive crystal chandeliers, but the food is amazing! I chose the burger, which I would usually not do at such an elegant restaurant, but 2 words jumped out at me from the menu. BACON JAM!!! I was not at all disappointed by my choice. It is... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
