Ok, this isn't a fancy place at all. But if you want the best sushi in the East Bay go to Sakana. Just go with the classics and you won't be disappointed.

Been there many times, great for kids (japanese soda that pops), good, fresh sushi, atmosphere minimal but comfortable place. Never had a bad piece of raw stuff. Teriyaki is so so.
