Our favorite steak house in the high desert! We've been coming here for the past 20+ years! Thank you for always creating an atmosphere where we want to come back.

If you want a juicy steak cooked just right this the place for you. It is not a fast food place yet the food arrives as fast as the chef can create a master piece.

Really good food as prepared just right. The environment is both family friendly and couple appropriate, there are wonderful staff and the menu is a great value.

No place feels like a western 'come-as-you-are' friendly as does Steer-n-Stein. It's like a favorite comfy sweater. The meals are consistent and the staff are tops. The specialty steak and teriyaki chicken with mushrooms plate is our favorite.

The food was good, but not great, the price was very reasonable. The crowd was typical after-church-on-Sunday/ Retirees, couples with kids, multiple families with lots of kids. The decor was dated but not dingy. I suspect they have a good kids menu because I saw lots of kids.

The atmosphere is friendly. The steaks are hot. This not a fast food joint so there is a bit of a wait. It is worth it. They do steaks right at a reasonable price. One of the best kept secrets in the high desert.
