My husband & I enjoy going to the Sportsman coffee shop when we are in town. The location is nice. We enjoy breakfast there. The biscuits are fair, but not the best. Otherwise, when you say crispy hashbrowns that's the way you get them. There are many different kinds of homemade sausages. Next time, I would like to try it.

Had breakfast here on a local business trip. This is a local favorite for good food and friendly service. The decor is early hunter, with a splash of fisherman thrown in. But, hey if you don't mind the gaze of a few deer as you eat, this is a great place. Try it as it gives you the feel of... More

Have eaten at this coffee shop over the last 10 years. Food has always been good and wait staff very friendly. Prices low compared to other breakfast places.

I've dined (mostly breakfasts) here many many times over the 40+ years my family has owned a cabin in Twain Harte, and my experience has always been consistently good. Their omelettes are well done with fresh ingredients. This time I purchased some of their fresh chicken-rosemary sausage to take home with me and it was excellent. This is a pretty... More

After eating here for 20 years it is good today as 20 years ok. The home made sausage is a must if you like sausage large menu choices. I have not had lunch for about 10 years but I am sure it is just as good as it was. This is the classic home town coffee shop. The staff is... More

This restaurant is always busy. The food is wonderful. The service is personable. They have the best homemade sausages. And their chocolate chip pancakes are to die for. At times the service can take a while. Great stop!

We stumbled across the Sportsman in Twain Harte - what it lacks on the outside of the cafe it makes up for inside! We were greeted with big smiles and welcomes as we made ourselves at home. The staff at this place are a real team and you can tell they really enjoy each other's company. The food, coffee and... More
