I'd grade them a C+. Food was OK but nothing to rave about. I had the corned beef hash. Hash was good, not great. 3 chunks of fat included? Hash browns were average. Eggs were cooked as ordered. Biscuit was good. Service was better than the food. My friends both had the Rueben. It looked ok but they did not... More

This is still our favorite Black Bear. The service is great and so is the food. I had the shrimp and steak dinner and my wife had the turkey dinner.

This place is clean and the staff is nice and on it! The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The kids menu is a bargain. The drink is included in the meal as well as main entree, side and dessert. Can't complain about anything. Will stop again at this Black Bear Diner or any other with good reviews.

Even though we read previous bad reviews of this place we overlooked them and wanted to try for ourselves since the latest reviews sounded good. From the outside it looked like a hometown restaurant with a nice mural on the outside. After being seated I put my purse and cell phone on the chair next to me. When I picked... More

The food was so good, what can I say. We had the corn beef hash with eggs and Reuben sandwich plus coffee. Delicious and enough to take and enjoy for lunch the next day. Coffee was excellent too. Upon learning from my husband that it was my birthday, the manager and staff brought me a desert with one candle and... More

Black Bear Diner claims it has home-style cooking,,,and they pretty well nail it! Fresh cooked vegetables, corn bread that is delicious, pot roast so tender, you can cut it with a fork! Pretty close to a "5" rating!

Thank Fred C
