There's nothing fancy about the decor of this little beach restaurant, but the food is quite good and best of all, it's pretty affordable compared to the other restaurants in the area serving similar food. The seating and tables are what you'd find in a fast food joint, but the place is clean and the staff is helpful. You can't... More

Wow. My sister and I were in Arcata to visit Humboldt State and decided to visit the farmers market first. As soon as we arrived we could smell something amazing. We followed our noses to the Lighthouse booth and were served a delicious concoction of gravy, bacon, mashed potatoes, and Brisket on a savory waffle cone. One of the best... More

Stopped here on our way up the 101. Great food and drink! Highly reccomend it. Just make sure you're not in to big of a hurry. Took about 45 minutes to get the food out to us, but the staff is great about letting you know it might be awhile and taking care of you. Try one of everything it... More

Trinidad after season is pretty empty, but the restaurant just at the entrance to the Pier is warm and welcoming tourists any time. They offer reasonably prices seafood stuff , as typical american burgers. The tables with view to the pier and the rocks in the ocean are especially recommended. Plenty of parking places available.

Cold fries, greasy fish & chips. Husband had burger which he liked. His garlic fries were terrible.... sprinkled with powder garlic salt. Slow churned ice cream was good. Will not come back.

I used the reviews that stated this was a dog friendly resturant to plan our trip. Imagine my surprise when I arrived with my dog in tow to face not one, but two big signs on the front of the resturaunt stating no dogs allowed. Still, owner and or management has not corrected any reviews stating otherwise for their out... More

OK--so we went there for dinner. There were lots of choices, but who could resist trying mashed potatoes in a waffle cone? I had the one with everything, including bacon and brisket. Tasty, tasty!

Great food, great people, great prices, nice family atmosphere. What more could you ask for? Day at the beach and everyone is hungry then this is the best place to go.

We were in town for a couple of nights and wanted to go someplace casual that didn't focus on seafood. We both had burgers and they were very good. The place was busy, but it was Friday night. You order at the window and they bring it out to you. Would go back if in the area again. Lot's of... More

We stopped in for lunch. Got there around 11 AM because we knew if you get there later, the line is out the door and there would be no seating. I ordered the fish and chips, my wife ordered a bowl of clam chowder. Even with few people in the place, it seemed like it took forever for the food... More
