The Cantina is pretty much the only place to eat on the Angel island tour. I guess that means they can charge the captive audience whatever they want. The menu had a decent variety, some healthy, some not. I had the gluten free power salad...More

We had failed to do our research properly and hadn't clocked that you could order lunch online ahead of a visit to Angel Island. It didn't matter but worth noting if you are planning a visit. We ordered the veggie wrap to share for lunch...More

Average but expensive for what you order. Breakfast filling was microwaved due to the amount of people that the cafe turnover. Try and have breakfast before your tour...like I said A LAST MINUTE RESORT!!!!

Unfortunately, the restaurant closes an hour before the posted time, so we did not get an evening snack there before we went back to our campsite. However, there was hot coffee and PIZZA for breakfast the next morning, so how could I not give it...More

We were surprised to find healthier choices on the menu when we visited Angel Island as part of the Alcatraz tour.

Food is quite good, but definitely very pricey, which is to be expected in a tourist area. Servings are quite large and the staff is friendly and efficient. We had a wrap and a sandwich while waiting for our ferry.

Angel Island is a real hidden gem. Most people just head to Alcatraz but this is a great addition to that trip if not worth a trip in its own right. The history is interesting and the views of San Francisco and Alcatraz are amazing....More

There's not much to eat but what I ordered was very good. I think it was turkey sandwich? I think, I'm unsure. It's a bit pricy as it's the only place to eat on Angel Island. You order and then sit with a stick with...More

How far is the Cafe from the Ferry landing (Ayala Cove)? Is it 100 yards away, 1/4 mile?

Not far at all, can be seen from the landing or vice versa. Great food made to order, not your typical frigerated sandwiches or packaged salads. Can take on board the ferry if your pressed for time.
