My husband and I stopped for lunch to celebrate his birthday. The view is amazing, the food was excellent, and the server was very nice and thoughtful. I loved the duck confetti tacos. I asked for salsa (it doesn't come with the dish). The lady server gave me a small serving of habanero sauce, it was good but just too... More

Dined here in September 2010. Located at callaway vineyard. Casual dining overlooking their vineyards. Watch the sunset over the mountain as you dine and enjoy the warm California weather. We had the set menu with salad, entree, and dessert. Three out of four of us had the same entree. Dessert was very good too. Blueberry cobbler like dessert. Good, friendly... More

We made last minute reservations for brunch on New Years Day and were almost surprised they could get a party of 8 in at nearly the last minute. When we got there, the restaurant was nearly full, but our table was awaiting and we were graciously hosted by our server, who did everything possible to make our first visit in... More

The restaurant has a great view of the valley below and is just a few steps away from a fun wine tasting. we have been members since since 2001 and have enjoyed the restaurant before or after wine tasting. I had the Ahi Stack today and it was excellent. Good choice of crispy taco type chipe to go with it.... More

I love this restaurant! The views out over the vineyards and the mountains are beautiful, the menu is varied and interesting, the food is beautifully presented and delicious, the wines are terrific, and the service is professional and warm. Making a reservation is complicated by the process of reserving on the website and then waiting for a callback or message... More

We ate here on my husbands birthday and love getting a few tapas and sharing them. First off - we sat at the bottom most level against a large window that looked out onto rows and rows of vines - gorgeous! We ordered the calamari, duck tacos, and quail knots. The calamari was delicious - but didn't really stand out... More

We needed a quick bite before heading to a winery. We had an hour to find a restaurant, order, eat and pay. Meritage was fantastic with nice portions, good prices and great flavors. They were happy to accommodate a last-minute group of three, and worked around our schedule. Don was our server and had fun with us, while helping us... More

Had a delightful lunch on a Thursday afternoon (2pm) in September. Came here with a friend who was a wine club member at Callaway - wine club members get 10% discount when dining at Meritage. Lovely restaurant with panoramic views over the vineyards. Primarily open for lunch until 4pm Mondays to thru Thursdays, and until 8pm on Fri-Sun. Nice menu.... More

We ordered several "flights" to try a dozen of their wines and found a very nice Cabernet Rose (!). We ordered only their Tapas, but a lot of them and they were really nice. We recommend this place. It is not the most coziest or romantic but still very worth it.

Restaurant views are amazing, daily specials are great and you have to try the corn on the cob if in season
